We had a magnificent time at the Waldman hotel. Our room actually had a view of the castle. The food was excellent and we rented bikes to ride into the city. Highly recommend this place easy to get up to the castle on the bus in the morning.

This is an excellent hotel to use when visiting the Füssen-Schwangau area. It is clean, well-maintained, and the staff is most helpful. A delayed train led to a very late check-in (1:45 am), but clear instructions were present at the hotel to allow us to quickly and quietly access our room. Later that morning, finishing the check-in process was quick and easy. Breakfast at the Hotel Waldmann is very good. A large selection of cold meats and cheeses, yoghurt, breads, butter, jams, and juices are available. A freshly cooked egg is available for no additional charge. Should my family visit this area again in future, we will stay here again.

Loved the location, quiet, free parking. Breakfast was great, with fresh egg cooked to order. Lots of selection and the staff were very responsive to requests. Dinner was great there too (hotel restaurant). View out the window was of Neuschwanstein Castle which kind of made the stay really. In fact the tourist area around the castles was walking distance if you're capable of walking (about 20 min from the hotel). The whole area there is very beautiful and peaceful. Recommend talking the time to go to Fussen as well.

Great hotel - bike hire - great choice at breakfast including eggs cooked whichever way you like, brought to your table. Room clean. No kettle etc but they were available to take to your room from a unit on first floor. Friendly staff - ate at night in restaurant - food very good. 10min bike ride into Fussen centre or about 20 min walk. Cycling very popular with separate bike paths. Parking was OK but when hotel busy not enough bays but can park alongside of building. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We have nothing but praise for Hotel Waldmann and its staff! Everyone was friendly and helpful at all times. We were particularly grateful for all the advice and recommendations we got at check in. The room (apartment with balcony) was very comfortable and clean, and had an absolutely cracking (and unexpected) view of the two castles. My daughters loved the outdoor space, playing on the trampoline, table tennis and football. Breakfast was incredible. The homemade jams were absolutely delicious and staff prepared your choice of eggs fresh for you. We had been a little worried about being outside Füssen as we had no car. However, the location was perfect. There are local buses and actually Füssen, the castles and the lakes are all very walkable. We even walked back from Tegelberg as there was a beautiful path! My partner also hired a bike a couple of times which was excellent. We ate at their restaurant a number of times too and the food was excellent quality. Plenty of choice and a daily special as well. We rarely return to previous destinations on holiday but we will be back in Bavaria and we will absolutely return to Waldmann Hotel!

Die Zimmer sind sauber und gemütlich. Das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück top mit verschiedenen Brötchen, Eiergerichte nach Wunsch. Parkplätze sind genug vorhanden. Wir hatten einen super Ausblick von unserem Balkon auf beide Schlösser.

The hotel was great. The staff in particular was excellent. Very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend this place any day of the week. The only problem we had was due to the extreme heat while we’re there and the fact that there was no air conditioning and only one table fan for two adjacent rooms.

Clean room and friendly staff. One side of the hotel has a gorgeous view of Neuschwanstein. A short drive to Hohenschwangau to visit the castles and overlook. The breakfast is definitely European/ German style but you can get cooked to order eggs. Cute playground and garden swing.

O quarto do hotel é muito bom. Bastante espaçoso e limpo. Foi o melhor hotel que fiquei durante minha viagem na Alemanha. A localização é relativamente boa, embora não tenha muita coisa por perto que dê pra ir a pé. Mas, se estiver de carro, é bem tranquilo, tem muita coisa num raio de 5 minutos.

Good range at breakfast and excellent quality. Comfortable rooms and good beds, but you may need an extra pillow as they are very fluffy. Friendly, helpful staff and a good restaurant on site serving tasty, well made food.
