Getting Around: Getting around Savannah from our home is a breeze! We are less than a mile from downtown and River Street, a 15-20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive. Uber is also a convenient way to get around, and Savannah is a bike-friendly city with plenty of rental outlets. It was a great place to stay. It is well appointed and quiet, with secure off-street parking in a one-car garage (though the garage is very tight, being in Savannah).
