Bright Cottage w/ Private Veranda, Pet Friendly, Parking by Lucky Savannah

Located just East of the famous Fountain at Forsyth Park, Mandy's Veranda is the charming Southern cottage you've been looking for!

Look for the white picket fence and colorful trim to know you've arrived. This friendly 1800s cottage has been updated to suit the needs of the modern traveler while still harkening back to old Southern charm. Put down your bags and kick your feet up inside the formal living room facing the front of the home. Adjacent, you'll find the open kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops.

Toward the back of the house is a casual living space and flat-screen TV. A washer and dryer are ideal for extended stays, and a full bath is conveniently located for sleeping sofa guests. From this room, there is access to the deck with rocking chairs and a courtyard with a large seating area—the perfect spot for spending an evening sipping wine and recounting the day with loved ones.

Upstairs, there are three bedrooms and two full baths. The primary bedroom boasts a king-size bed and en suite bath. Across the hall, through the game parlor and writing room, is the second bedroom with a queen-size bed and a third with a Twin and Trundle. A full bath with tub/shower combo has Jack-and-Jill doors to accommodate both bedrooms.

Parking is on-street and non-metered, and it is first come, first served. Guests do not typically have trouble finding parking in this part of town. Guests are encouraged to keep note of the posted Sweep Zone signs.

Birthday weekend success

Our extended family of 6, plus our dog, spent a long weekend celebrating our daughter’s 23rd birthday. The location was perfect, and the house was just right for our group. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent!

We loved this home. It has an adorable front porch, comfortable back porch and yard, and plenty of roomy areas to sit on the first floor. The home was very clean and within walking distance to many sites.

2024 Family Vaca Savannah

The homes age is definitely evident, especially in the upstairs floors, but to me that was part of the charm. It had plenty of room for our family members who were staying in another home close by to gather and hangout. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!! Oh, and the beds were VERY comfortable!! Slept great!!

Charming

We loved our girls trip to Savannah. The house was exactly as the pictures showed. It was very clean, in a great location and charming. We loved sitting out back at night. It was so quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend this house for a comfortable, fun visit. One note…lots of stairs so would not recommend for elderly.

Family Vacation

We never received any emails with our door codes. Was on the phone the night before for at least 45 minutes trying to get a key code to get in, finally got the information then was able send to my daughter and son, they were coming from different areas. Once we've got there the door code didn't work, I had to call Lucky Savannah back and finally got the correct code. The house was not cleaned has expected. The floors needed swept as you can see hair and dust I had to clean because I had my granddaughters with me. I have short hair and in the master bathroom had long hair on the floor. When we took the sheets and pillowcases off the beds, the pillows were yellow. 😡 The kitchen was not stocked, outdoor furniture was not wiped down such as the table. Some kind of construction was being done so there was long boards on the front porch which they did move as I complained because of my Granddaughters could possibly get hurt. Location was great within walking distance from the areas we wanted to go to. Overall, the house was cute. I highly recommend a deep clean especially in the bathrooms and kitchen. The walls going up the stairwell should be wiped down as well. Pretty nasty.

Beautiful neighborhood and the master bed is awesome. Only negatives: master bath shower drains slow and water pressure isn’t great but it’s an old house! As well as the AC. Not the best but it’s an old house. Also they forgot to cover the outdoor seating and it rained the day before we came so it was all soaking wet. Reason we booked was for that back patio. They have covers and must have forgotten to put them on. We had to use our own towels to sit on top of cushions

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The home was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located close enough to walk to many attractions and restaurants. We especially appreciated the fenced-in yard for our dogs; it made traveling with them so much easier.During our stay, the upstairs AC stopped working, but maintenance arrived very quickly and resolved the issue. The responsiveness from Lucky Savannah was outstanding and made us feel well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again!
