Featuring two bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, and a beautiful shared courtyard, this townhome is the perfect place to experience southern living for four guests. With original hardwood floors, high ceilings, and splashes of color, you enjoy every minute of your stay. Just 10 minutes from Forsyth Park, a short drive to the riverwalk! The Space: Enter The Tea Olive A with a simple step up from the brick-laid sidewalks on Taylor Street. Enjoy a roomy living area with oversized sofas and a smart TV to stream your favorite shows. Flowing from front to back of the primary floor, you will find a freshly updated kitchen with butcher block countertops and a significant splash of color. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, including pots, pans, dishware, and more. There is also a half bath right there in the hallway. Brew your morning coffee in the kitchen and step out into the shared courtyard to enjoy a large deck, patio furniture, and plenty of greenery. Whether early morning or evening, the courtyard is a wonderful place to enjoy beautiful Savannah weather. Head upstairs to find two bedrooms and a full bathroom. Each bedroom features a queen mattress with crisp linens and plush pillows. Large windows and high ceilings fill the rooms with natural light. Closets and dressers provide ample storage for extended stays. The Neighborhood: Tea Olive A is located on the east side of the Historic District, just minutes from Forsyth Park, Mother Matilda Beasley Park (with a dog park!), and many of Savannah’s best attractions. Start your day by grabbing your morning coffee and breakfast just a couple blocks down at Carly’s Café and enjoying a park bench in Calhoun Square or Whitefield Square. Enjoy excellent dining options by heading towards the riverwalk and stopping at The Olde Pink House for fine southern dining. Grab some laid-back bites and brews at Spanky’s Pizza Galley & Saloon. Enjoy delicious southern dining with a river view at Huey’s or Vic’s on the River. A short drive will take you to the River Walk and City Market area off Broughton Street. With endless shopping, sites, and eateries, you’ll find adventure at every corner. Getting around is easy with walkable streets, bike rentals, and Uber service. Jump on Savannah’s public transit system with the Price & Gordon SB bus stop just a 3-minute walk from the townhome. Ready for a little on-the-water adventure? Try out the Savannah Belles Ferries to see the beautiful skyline of Savannah from the riverfront. Getting Around: Parking is free on the street in this area. Just need to pay attention to the street signs throughout Savannah as we have street sweepers twice a week, and will need to park accordingly overnight. There's a FREE shuttle that picks up about 8 blocks away at Price & Liberty! This is a free "trolley" style bus that circles around the Historic District and stops at a lot of attractions. Additionally, there is The Downtowner which is a City-ran "uber" just download the app and they will pick you up for free! Aside from that, we recommend using Uber/Lyft to get where you need. If you find free parking near the apartment, stay there! You can walk to just about anything in the City! :) Other Things to Note: We allow up to 2 dogs, the fee for one is $100 and the fee for two is $200\. Must be paid before checking in. No parties. The beds were amazingly comfortable, especially after long days exploring Savannah via car, walking, trolley, and Uber. Such a beautiful city. The host was great about answering any questions we had. The home is charming and historic but has been updated in ways that make it modern and comfortable. The location is ideal with parks and squares within walking distance. The condo was clean and all of the electronics worked well. Many nice touches that we haven’t encountered in other properties. The were plenty of places to walk the dog, so that was nice as well. It’s located perfectly - about a 2 minute walk to the nearest square, and only a few minutes more to Forsyth. Situated on a clean, safe quiet street. It also has a nice kitchen, and the Kroger’s supermarket is an easy 10 minute walk away. We slept very well. The owners were extremely accommodating and super responsive. The location was just what we were looking for. Close to some nice eateries, and close to the visitor's center, for tours. It was a lovely little two-room unit, clean and nicely stocked. Parking turned out to be very good, with just one adjustment for sweeping. Very easy. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and the management staff was great, addressing all of our needs.
