This Oceanfront corner-unit condo located right on Strand Avenue on the South end of Tybee is ready and waiting for your next Tybee Island vacay. This updated 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom condo is right near the pier, restaurants, shopping, and the main beach. Sandpiper Condos is at the heart of Tybee Island, right next to Fannies on the Beach. Be right in the center of all the action the South end of Tybee has to offer.
This spacious condo sleeps up to 8 guests. The open plan living area looks right over the ocean through the sliding glass door with access to the outdoor balcony furnished with a table that seats 6. The large open living and dining room is furnished with a sleeper sofa and a large flat-screen TV. The dining table seats 4 with additional 2 seats at the large breakfast bar.
The primary bedroom is furnished with a King bed and a flat-screen TV and offers an attached bath with a whirlpool tub, separate shower and double vanity. Both guest bedrooms are furnished with Queen-size beds and both have flat-screen TVs. These two bedrooms share a bathroom in the hall with a tub and shower combination. There are a full-sized washer and dryer for guest use in the hallway.
Sandpiper Condos offers private gated parking, with 2 assigned spaces and an oceanfront entry on the street. Wireless high-speed internet/WIFI is available for guest use. Handicap friendly (elevator, not ADA compliant). NOTE: Larger SUV`s may not fit in parking space- especially during peak/high seasons.

This picture was taken from the balcony of 106 one morning during our stay. We loved our stay at Sandpiper 106. This is a nicely furnished and recently updated unit. We have stayed in several Sandpiper units and this one is one of the best.
Excellent customer service from TVR as usual. Can't wait to come back.

I was given the task of finding our summer vacation “somewhere nice”. This condo is located on the main road. You can see the ocean, not the beach. You can also see the menu from the restaurant next door. This lacks tranquility, along with ongoing noise when trying to sleep. We also had to deal with a lack of AC, temp was typically around 78 until they had a vendor come out on 4th day & informed it was a leak in pipe. No one bothered to call to verify if fixed or apologize for this incredible discomfort. They had 2 notices in room about AC, saying don’t set below 70 & another saying don’t set below 72. I’m paying thousands for this place for a few days & you’re going to tell me I can’t set to a comfortable 71? Obvious that the ac unit has ongoing issues. Also, bring toilet paper. They only leave you with one roll per bathroom. Middle room is the coolest & quieter but you’ll both be in the middle of bed on top of each other, as it caves in. Best thing is the sunrise view from the balcony, that is if you can get up in time after hearing yelling from neighbors & on the street past midnight. We left a day early so we can get a decent night’s sleep.
The condo was VERY clean, nice bedding, well maintained and a great location. The balcony was a great place to people watch, to enjoy sunrises and to have dinner. We have rented beach houses/condos from the Outer Banks to Dauphin Island and this property had the best starter supply of soaps, paper products and kitchen towels. The check out process was the easiest ever. The only minuses we’re the parking gates were not reliable and the one beach access door no longer locked. We still felt safe, but it was not as promised/advertised. Property is very well cared for and I would definitely rent this condo again.
Three of my friends and I stayed at the Sandpiper condo for a week. It was wonderful. The condo was the perfect size for the four of us. The covered deck faced the water and was perfect for morning coffee and evening wine. We could hear the ocean and see the waves and the sunrises and sunsets were to die for! Would highly recommend this to any and everyone.
When we got there, there was a coozie, bag and letter about the area along with books that contained restaurants and such in the area. It was super clean and welcoming. We had the hurricane Elsa come through and had some leaking and they within a few hours of the storm the next morning had brought us extra towels, cleaned up, made sure we were all ok and didn't need anything. It was service that I have never had before somewhere we have stayed. Super impressed and will be back!!
WiFi very frustrating so if you rely on WiFi figure out something else. We were told for days the tech would be there that day. No one ever showed. Made going to online classes impossible. Also a lot of partying people until 3 or 4 am. That got old fast. Property was nice and beach was really nice.
We had a great stay at Sandpiper. The condo was spotless when we checked in. We had a problem with the WiFi and customer service got us taken care of. The only issue I would say was a problem was there was no extra toilet paper and no tissues. We went to the store and bought what we needed for the stay. All was good and we would recommend Tybee Vacation Rentals!
