Just off of Columbia Square, you’ll be a short walk to Savannah’s best dining, shopping, and nightlife venues. Guests won’t have to sacrifice a single comfort, convenience, or amenity at the generously sized apartment. The living area has been renovated to have an open layout, allowing you to see through to the kitchen. You’ll have a two comfortable sofas to relax on while enjoying the flat screen TV in the fireplace. A half wall separates the living area from dining area, which has a spacious table with seating for six, and an extended granite countertop that connects to the adjacent kitchen. You’ll have plenty of counter space and everything you need to enjoy a home cooked meal during your stay. In the back of the home is a breakfast nook where you can comfortably plan out your day. Each night you’ll come back to a massive king-sized bed to relax and unplug in, with a luxurious ensuite bathroom and walk-in shower. Just down the street is the Davenport House Museum. Completed circa 1820 by Isaiah Davenport and threatened with demolition in 1955, the home was saved by a group of community-spirited citizens, marking the beginning of Savannah’s historic preservation movement. If you’re looking for something in the heart of the historic district with included parking this is a good find. First impressions were that this property has a cute cottage feel, but no real frills. Very minimal on decor, much less than what was pictured. As mentioned in other reviews the bed is extremely firm! It’s a memory foam mattress with very very little give. Bathroom is very small but for a couple or single renter shouldn’t be an issue. If you’re a taller renter I would probably pass on this one as the ceilings are low. Property is at street level on a square so you will hear traffic including trolly tours and horse tours, we didn’t mind but if you’re a light sleeper a portable noise machine or fan should drown some of it out. Enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return to Savannah soon! ##### Brittani T. The bed was amazing. However, instead of cancelling and finding us a new location, Lucky Savannah decided to inform us two days before our arrival that the roof was going to be replaced and that we shouldn’t be disturbed because it’s a three floor home and so far up there. That’s not how it worked. Pound pound pound. Fine. It’s during the day and we were mostly out. But upon our return, the entrance to our rental is blocked off and not accessible as debris if flying off the roof above. Upon calling Lucky Savannah, they actually informed me that my reservation was no. Refundable due to construction. But no—I read the co tract—it says “construction nearby” not on the roof over your head that you are unable to get to anyway. Geez. Had to reroute to a supervisor and wait for someone to call back. What a pain. Why did they even Confirm those dates in the first place? You’re getting a new roof replaced! Totally put a damper on trip from Michigan to Savannah. Just because they couldn’t close this rental down for two days. In the end, they did let me check out a day early. Yippie Skippie. No refund offered. Nails falling on the sidewalk outside our door and no access to our paid for rental. Not a good look, Lucky Savannah ##### Kelly K. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Timing is everything. First the good, the location was great easy walk to everything. The bed was very comfortable and the parking space made things easy. Now the not so good. When we arrived the building was being reroofed. It was taped off with yellow do not cross tape. I called the contact number and they said there should be no problem the property was still accessible. The next morning the owner or who every was staying upstairs decided to leave at 0500 and made sure everyone new it. You could hear every footstep, door slam etc. then at 0730 the roofing crew showed up so needless to say there was no sleeping in that morning. The roofing job wasn't complete when we checked out three days later. The apartment itself was ok although the floors were a little dirty and there were on one hand towel and two wash clothes for a three day stay. The day before we checked out, it rained and the bathroom floor flooded. I am not sure if was due to the roof work but likely. Again timing is everything. Any other period the room may have been ok but it probably shouldn't have been rented during this maintenance work. ##### carl s.
