All of our homes are professionally cleaned after each stay, and disinfected using a quaternary disinfectant throughout the entire property prior to each new arrival. Southern Elegance Estate Have it all! The Southern Elegance Estate is a beautiful historic 4 bedroom home and 1 bedroom carriage house located in the Savannah Historic District. It has it's own private courtyard with pool, outdoor fireplace and is close to renowned Forsyth Park. It has been professionally updated, designed and decorated and has everything you need to make your stay in Savannah one to remember. Spacious & Fabulous: The first floor of the main home includes two separate living areas: a lovely front parlor, as well as a sitting room in the back of the home with television. The formal dining room can seat 14 comfortably. And the well-equipped gourmet kitchen includes a butler's pantry, wine refrigerators, ice maker, two dishwashers, and more. There's also a lovely half bath on the first floor. The second floor includes three bedrooms and two full baths. Each bedroom has a historic mantle with non-working fireplace. The master bath includes a claw-footed tub and a separate oversized shower with two shower heads. There is also a porch off the master bath. The second bath includes a tub with shower. The third floor is its own suite – including a king-sized bed, living area, wet bar, and full bath. The Carriage House has a living area, kitchen, bedroom, full bath and laundry. Outdoor Living: Southern Elegance also stands out in terms of what it offers for outdoor living. It was a five minute walk to Forsyth Park but over a mile to Bay Street and the heart of downtown. There are no locks on any of the bathrooms, the front door knob is quite tricky and may fall off. These are all minor issues, and we understand the age of the building is historical. Beautiful & large. The management team is very responsive and helpful. Our family of 16 was able to spread out. The kitchen is well equipped and the grill was great to have for meals too. Plastic plates & drinkware would be a valuable addition to the kitchen supplies The pool is small but refreshing! The pool on Tybee Island is very nice and wish we got there more. You can walk everywhere - the River is a little bit over a mile away, Forsyth Park is 2 blocks away, loads of Squares to see and a supermarket is right around the corner. She specified she would like a home with a swimming pool. We chose the home that we did because of the pool and the patio area. Unfortunately that area was a huge let down! The cushions on the chairs were soaking wet and so stained/dirty we could not sit out back. Just a huge bummer! Take better care of the area-the photos showed a beautiful and peaceful area to enjoy, but we were not able to enjoy. ##### Lou W. Poor maintenance: main dishwasher broken; stovetop and oven taken apart for the first week (and then the repairman had to saw and covered everything with 16th" of dust--didn't put tarps or plastic down to protect items.) It was cold the first week--in the 20's at night--and the thermostats on the second and third floors didn't respond; stayed at about 61-65 degrees. That involved a long HVAC visit but it never got fixed. The house is lovely and deserves better--somebody needs to live there for a month and reorganize and get everything fixed. ##### Alice M. Convenient to everything. We did have trouble with a few door knobs, but it is an old house. The thermostat in the master bedroom was not working correctly, so it stayed too cold in there most of the time even though we had it set up high. It stated that we needed to consult the house binder, but we never could find that. Would be helpful if it was stated where to find it also. Overall great experience in Savannah! ##### Denise L.
