No matter what brings you to Savannah, this property is sure to make you feel right at home. This spacious rental has been recently updated to give you all the modern conveniences while still maintaining it's historic charm. Once you arrive, forget the car, step out the front door and enjoy everything that downtown has to offer, Forsyth Park is just around the corner and it's less than a mile walk down to River Street. Spend your mornings with a cup of coffee out on the balcony overlooking Gordon Street. Once inside you will find the bright and inviting living room which features large sofa. Inside the well stocked kitchen, you'll find granite counter tops and stainless appliances along with all the cookery needed to create memorable meals during your stay. Enjoy some quality time around our large dining table with enough room for everyone. Down the hall you will find two bedrooms and bathrooms. In the master rest your head on the plush King bed after a busy day of exploring our fabulous city. The adjoining master bath has been updated with a spacious walk in shower. The cheery second bedroom is equipped with a full size bed and flat screen TV. In the hall bath, you will find a tub/shower combo. This unit also comes with those little extras that help to make your stay all the more comfortable including: Washer/Dryer, Iron and Ironing board, hair dryers, Keurig coffee maker and FREE WiFi. Traveling with pets? We would love to discuss accommodating your four legged family members, but ask that you please contact us before booking to obtain approval for your pets. Has that classic old feel with the advantage of plentiful amenities. It is close to everything - Clarys for breakfast, Forsythe Park, easy walk to Bull Street all the way to the river. We were there for a wedding near the park, and the unit was a five minute walk from there. It was very convenient. Check in was a breeze, the place was spotless, the beds were comfortable and it was great to have two full baths. The neighborhood was wonderful and the place had old world Savannah charm. It was spacious and clean. The master bathroom shower could have been cleaner, but other than that, it was clean upon arrival. Charming and located in a quiet area just off Monterrey Square made this the perfect home base for a walking tour visit of Savannah. The windows appear to be original and as such are thin, so expect to hear the neighbors through the walls and ceiling. But well worth the price. ##### Tania H. Easy walking to lots of Savannah attractions. The place was quiet. We could have used regular hangers in the closet. Three wire hangers, and one cast off from a clothing store was a bit cheap. The location is excellent. It's close to everthing, very walkable. The street is gorgeous. The home is very attractive and in good condition. The amenities were good, comfortable beds and furniture. We stayed from Thursday night thru Sunday and only paid $10.00 to park right out front. There were always spaces right outside the building. This was late May/Early June for reference. It was fairly bright despite being on a tree lined street with homes tight on either side. Our only complaint was noise. It's an antique so floors creak and on the second floor we could here the folks on the third floor walking around a bit. It's one door away from a busy side street and the traffic noise is fairly constant at night. It's a city so night time noise is to be expected but a rental closer to a square and further from a side street might cut down on the noise, but maybe not. The first floor unit which we also rented has the compressors for the AC right outside the second bedroom and they were loud. Noise was our only complaint. I'd give the property an 87 out of 100\.
