Loved our stay in Savannah

This is a great house for a stay in Savannah. Very quick easy drive to the riverside historic district. The neighborhood was very friendly and I loved hearing the children playing in the street every evening. The owners were very fast to respond to any questions that we sent them. We would definitely stay here again.

Not what it seems in the pictures

We stayed here for 1 months due to a lot of home renovations. We were super stressed with everything that was going on and just wanted a comfortable place to stay. I booked this place particularly because the couch looked super comfy and when we get home from work we like to relax on the couch. It was a big brown couch in the photos. Once we got there it was not at all what we saw in the photos. It was a VERY tiny and HARD futon that had been covered by a comforter. My husband and I are not large people but we could not even fit on futon together comfortably. We also had two animals that we brought with us and my fur baby couldn't even get comfortable. All of the beds were just as uncomfortable. We stayed in the main bedroom as you walk in the door. It had a huge piece of foam on top of mattress that was covered in a plastic bed covering. I have never sweat that much in my life. Waking up in sweat was disgusting. Mind you, I am not one to complain AT ALL but when we are going through a major transformation on our own home, we wanted a comfortable place to lay our head, let alone put our feet up. Which we weren't able to do either. We weren't able to cancel bc it was too late, I did bring this up to the owner only to be told that if we aren't happy then thats going to make her upset with us staying there and that we were free to go if we didn't like it that much. I'm sorry but I'm not going to leave when I just dropped 4k to stay at a place that is more uncomfortable than a motel 6. So we sucked it up. On the plus side it was closer for me to go to work and there was everything I needed kitchen wise to cook. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy and loud on the weekends. To put the trash out, you go through back yard to gate where trash was kept in alley way which was disgusting. Trash was thrown everywhere. I'm just glad to say that we are out of there and if you are looking for a comfortable get away Do NOT book this place. Super uncomfortable FUTON not Couch and beds were horrible. Let alone a blood stain on the other side of pillow case. Barf. Do your research and ask of questions! Because it may not what it seems in the pictures!
