Ich hatte meine Jeep Safari kurzfristig am Anreisetag über den Hotelmanager buchen können, was super war. Jedoch habe ich im Vergleich zu anderen Teilnehmern deutlich mehr mehr bezahlt, das heißt das heißt das Hotel hat einfach meine Unkenntnis der Preise am ersten Tag ausgenutzt, was nicht sehr anständig war. Meine folgenden Aktivitäten habe ich mit eine der zahlreichen Agenturen an der Hauptstraße gebucht, die deutlich transparenter in der Preisgestaltung und Beratung waren. Das Personal und der Manager haben jeden Tag gefragt war ich mache oder wo ich war und ich empfand dies als alleinreisende Frau als extrem unangenehm, fühlte mich wie unter Beobachtung. Frühstück war inklusive aber nicht gut, Mittagessen war schnell da, aber die Qualität war schlecht. Abendessen kann ich nicht beurteilen. Späterer Check Out war moeglich. Ich hatte das Bungalow mit Gartenblick. This was our last stop of a 35 day trip to Nepal including 21 days of trekking and a stay in Pokhara. Overall the accommodations were some of the nicest we had during our time in Nepal. The room was large and clean. The fully functioning bathroom (with reliable hot water) was clean and the air conditioner worked. When we arrived, we were met at the gate by the proprietor and shown immediately to our room. He then organized our activities for the weekend and introduced us to our outstanding guide, Mungala. We had an action packed weekend doing all the tours with our guide and hotel mates. Our meals were all included in the price and the food was outstanding. The actual location of River View Jungle Camp was very convenient. It is a short walk via the river trail or city streets to the city center. Many shops and ATMs were nearby. We had a second floor room with a balcony that overlooked the beautiful gardens, river and jungle. Ich würde die Zimmer mit Flussblick empfehlen weil die Stimmung dort besser ist. Das Frühstück ist nicht der Hit, die Angestellten eher neutral. Der Chef ist redselig und gut damit beschäftigt seine Ausflüge an den Mann zu bringen und zu organisieren. Wir haben alles über ihn organisiert weil es einfach bequem ist und man nicht auf der Hauptstrasse Massen von Agenturen abklappern muss. The staff are extremely helpful and gracious, the room was clean, and the safaris were amazing. The lodge is a set close to the river, so you are very close to the main area of the town, but it's fairly quiet and peaceful. The manager was very helpful in planning my onward bus trip and the safaris in the National Park as well. The hotel is very centrally in Saurahar located with rooms facing the river and others the garden. The rooms are up-to-date and clean. The provide enough to feel comfortable. The restaurant serves good meals at a reasonable price. The garden suffered because of the flood last September but the hotel staff is working hard to restore it. We were told also some of the facilities were under water but nobody would notice anymore. The best is the very individual support the hotel manager gives to the hotel guests. He is very helpful with all arrangements like tours at the national park of flight arrangements back to Kathmandu etc. Everything can be tailored to your wishes. We book individual tours avoiding the big crowds. Ich hatte ein Zimmer im Hauptgebäude , welches sehr schön , sauber, geräumig und schön eingerichtet war. Mit einem tollen Balkon zum Fluss hin. Sehr bequemes Bett, schönes Bad mit Abtrennung zur Dusche. Wenn man das Zimmer gereinigt haben möchte , muss man den Schlüssel abgeben.Frühstück lecker (bis auf den Kaffee..) , Menü und für jeden etwas dabei. Das Personal (bes. Krishna, der Manager ) sind äußerst hilfsbereit und nett. Er hat mir diverse Ausflüge angeboten, zu einem Preis, der nicht viel höher lag als bei den Travel Agencies auf der Straße. Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Gutes WIFI. This was also their worst room as we could barely walk around the bed and fit our luggage and they did show us a better budget room after our complaint. Unfortunately the restaurant was dirty and food of poor quality, although has a great location and view.
