You're within 20 minutes or so walking to the gate for the old town, and Songkhla lake. The hotel is in a bustling area but is very clean and calm. A real highlight of the hotel is the staff. They are all very kind and always greet you warmly when you come back from exploring. The breakfast is mostly Asian style with a choice of freshly cooked eggs too. It starts at 6am which is great if you need to make an early start. It is good value for money at 150baht per person. When I was there, it was also a pork-free breakfast selection which is great. I thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel in a lovely and unique town. The best of Songkhla is within easy reach, and you will feel incredibly welcome.
