The house was clean and all the extra beach supplies were provided. We rented a car for the trip, I would recommend that or renting a golf cart during your stay as it is about a mile to mile and a half walk to the beach access. There were two separate outside seating areas and a grill to use as well. Wen ended up making friends with a family of bunnies and some little lizards in the side outside seating area. ##### Veronica C. We met our adult son there for a five day mini vacation. There is plenty of room to move around in the house. There are two full bathrooms and a half bath which was very nice surprise. Everything is well maintained and cleaned. I rarely recommend a property but this one is very good for your stay in Siesta Key. The beaches are amazing. Everything is within walking distance. The furniture needs updated, however the place was very clean, well stocked with towels, etc. apparently we misread the distance to the ocean. There is a small alley way that you can see the ocean from but no access to it . The actual ocean access is roughly a mile away. At our age( knee and back surgery in the last year) we weren’t able to walk that distance. The actual Siesta Key beach is amazingly beautiful but a ten minute drive, however to find a parking spot was next to impossible. We found the town to be a party town not family friendly. ##### Mary D. It was affordable and in a quiet neighborhood just outside the main strip. Questions were promptly answered whenever I emailed and will certainly consider Gertrude Rentals at their other locations. Recommendations for the house would be a full-length mirror somewhere, pump soaps instead of hand soap, and some hotter water for sinks. Showers were fine for temps, but washing dishes, hands, and faces were done with cool water. All quick fixes but didn’t impact the stay and just some preferences for a group of women. ##### Kristin M. Very close to beaches, great restaurants.When you first enter the house, You feel like you’re at home. Would highly recommend this home for a family gathering. Children and adults.
