Manager George and his team are amazing! Here they have a keen eye for the human needs and understanding of customer service; 100% recommended. Also much better quality than many of the 4 and 5star hotels in Oia. (We have been there too).

Beautiful gardens, pool and bar area. Room itself was quiet, clean and cosy. Very good breakfast provided, and the hotel location was great for access to the beach and the restaurant bars along the shoreline. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

This is our first time in Greece and we wanted to start in Santorini. This area was the best place for us to start in as it is 5 minutes away from the beach and tons of restaurants and shops. If you aren’t spending the day exploring the island, hanging out by the pool here was very nice, quiet and relaxing. The food and drinks were also delicious; my husband is a little picky with food and he even loved the menu. The front desk and staff are truly some of the nicest people I’ve ever met! They were all very helpful when it came to telling us the best way to get around the island and offered great conversations. We will definitely be staying here again next time we visit.

Marillia Village was more run down than the pictures suggested, and didn’t feel like a four star hotel. Some features were lovely - the plants and the bar staff were great. Others were dissapointing, breakfast was basic and small but important things were not as they should be e.g the bedsheet was too small for the bed and kept coming loose in the night, the drains in the rooms sometimes had a bad smell coming from them.

No drinkable water at this hotel. At check in the put some water bottles in the mini-fridge but then never refilled them. We asked to fill our own water bottles with drinkable water or get more bottles for the room and we were told the only option was to buy them at the bar, I wanted to love this hotel, but it seemed like much of the staff that worked there had a bad attitude. The honeymoon with a plunge pool was lovely but the air conditioner is in the sitting room instead of the bedroom so we could never get the bedroom very cold especially since the shower was open in there. There are many other hotel options more directly on the beach in this area. I have mixed feeling if I would chose this hotel again.

Good location by the beach but on a noisy road - continuous drop offs to the neighbouring hotel during the day by huge buses. Cleaning was not up to a 4 star standard - towels from the guests before were left behind the bathroom door, the bed wasn’t made properly/different everyday, a cleaning cloth was left on the sofa. The drain in the shower was not working properly and no one attempted to fix it even after asking twice. Breakfast had few options for vegetarians let alone vegan stuff even though I had asked via email before arrival. Service and hospitality of the staff left much to be desired, especially for a 4 star property - the day manager especially dealt with complaints very badly. Stuff that is advertised on the website as amenities are not available, think bikes etc. Pretty decorations all around, pool was nice, but not worth the money considering all the other factors.

Fantastic Stay

We stayed at Marillia Village for two weeks at the beginning of July 2023. We had a split level apartment (2 Adults and 1 child). George and Stella were amazing at responding to all my questions/requests before we even arrived. They made sure the airport transfer was set up (I would highly recommend setting that up through them. It worked seamlessly) and arranged two separate rental car bookings for us (also incredibly easy and convenient - so much better than renting from an airport counter). From the moment we arrived we felt like we stepped into a little oasis. The landscaping is impeccable and helps to provide shade and keep everything cooler. The room was spacious and very clean. Ample storage. I do wish there was a separate AC unit on the upper level as that got quite hot while the downstairs was chilly from the AC. But that's a really minor gripe. The pool area was again, clean and inviting. We never had to worry about getting an umbrella or sun lounger. Brekfast was wonderful, both in friendly service and good food. The hotel is on the smaller side, so don't expect a huge buffet. But they had everything we liked and what impressed me most was that everything was in glas jars. No plastic in sight! Love it. The hotel is only a hop and a skip from the beach and about 15 min walk (along the beach) to the bus stop so you could take the bus to Fira. There are two mini-marts in walking distance as well and of course all the restaurants etc. We loved our stay! Thank you!!

We just came back from a week at Marillia Village and had a wonderful holiday. The hotel grounds are beautiful and our room was really lovely and a great size for a family of 4, the outdoor area and jacuzzi was lovely. The hotel is peaceful, the pool area was quiet and not busy/overcrowded with plenty of sunbeds. A very chilled out friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was very nice. The bar/restaurant we used a lot during the day and the staff are fantastic. We hired a car and saw a lot of the island in the evenings with Marillia being in a easy location to reach and also a couple of minutes away from the beach with plenty of restaurants and beach clubs. We would love to visit again and highly recommend to anyone wanting a more relaxing stay away from the crowds of Oia and Fira.

Everything was great at this resort except our TV had no connection. Reception came into the room to see if she could get it to work with no luck. Promised that she would have someone look at it the next day. At the end of the next day, it still wasn’t working. Gentleman at reception told us that some rooms have working TV’s & some don’t! Also, no washcloths at this property for the shower. This must be common in Greece as this was the 2nd property that didn’t provide washcloths for the bathrooms.

Tout aurait été parfait si à l'accueil il n'y avait eu quelqu'un d'incompétent qui a mélangé les notes de frais de bar et n'a pas su réserver le taxi que nous avions demandé pour aller à l'aéroport où nous sommes arrivés presqu'en retard !!!C'est vraiment dommage car tout le reste était parfait (peut-être faire le café du matin un peu plus corsé!)

First time staying on Santorini and picked this hotel to relax for the first three days of our week’s holiday. So pleased we did. A really lovely place to stay. Staff all very friendly and welcoming. Location was great. Would 100% recommend.

Une belle arnaque. Venant de l’hôtellerie, je connais très bien les moyens de faire du profit. Je m’explique. Vous payez une réservation via expedia avec le nettoyage quotidien et à l’arrivée on vous dit  «  avec le covid on ne fait plus le ménage en chambre. Si vous voulez le ménage il faut nous prévenir et payer 12€ de plus par jour ». C’est scandaleux. D’autant plus étrange quand tous les autres hôtels font le ménage. Aucune remise sur notre réservation !!! De plus, la chambre est spacieuse mais les finitions sont très approximatives. Aucune ventilation dans les salles de bains. Du coup, une chaleur infernale. Isolation acoustique inexistante qui se fait ressentir lorsque vous avez des clients bruyants en dessous. Petit déjeuner moyen. Beaucoup de plats chauds sont en réalité froids. Bouquet final. Au départ nous laissons nos affaires en dans la bagagerie qui n’est même pas sécurisée !. On revient et il manque un sac. La réception l’avait pris car ils se sont trompés sur la facture. Gros stress de voir un bagage manquant. Traitement comme si nous étions des voleurs. Honnêtement, cherchez un autre établissement qui réalise vraiment ce pour quoi vous avez réservé. Le cadre et les photos sont belles mais très très loin du prix pour lequel nous sommes facturés.
