Overall it was a great hotel. The pizza and coffee shot next door are good. Breakfast was good. I had some problems with my room at check in they did not have the room I reserved but they showed me a few rooms and I picked one that was comparable, but it was a little frustrating after a long flight. I recommend staying here. It’s very centrally located.

Billini Hotel is simply wonderful. Never crowded, exquisite service. The pool bar is the best. And nearby are historical treasures, restaurants and entertainment. Highly recommended! ⭐️

I was at this property a year ago and it really seems like in a year. This property has gone downhill. There are a few members of the staff that were absolutely wonderful and helpful but all in all the staff was pretty inefficient, and the property itself needs some attention, and I would never recommend sleeping on the first floor, it was so noisy you could hardly hear yourself think. I’m hoping next time I go to that some of the things have been addressed.

It is in a beautiful location, and is a beutiful building. It was a bit busy and noisy with various weddings in the hotel and vicinity. The staff was great with special note of the Belldesk, who were very helpful.

NOT recommended - mediocre hotel with awful servic
Terrible, non-responsive staff, in a poorly-designed and maintained building. Rooms are not clean and hotel has rampant maintenance problems (light switches that don’t work, intermittent hot water, phones not working, etc). Building is also just not well-constructed - doors don’t close properly, etc. Staff often not present at all (e.g.un-attended reception desk) and completely non-responsive to time-sensitive problems. Owners/management also don’t bother to respond to “contact us” channels. NOT RECOMMENDED. There are lots of hotels in the Zona Colonial. Stay somewhere else.

Great location for some City exploration
The hotel is 2 blocks away from the first park. I ordered a pizza from the restaurant and what I received was a very skinny supermarket tortilla with some cheese and very little tomato sauce. The next day I was expecting a real continental breakfast, but the selection of foods was very limited and way too little. However, the cappuccino was great. The room I was given could have used some cleaning because it was dirty. The swimming pool is on the rooftop and the water was too cold to enter. There are plenty of seats on the first floor. I would not have paid for the breskfast and eaten elsewhere.

The hotel staff if very friendly and the location is great. We stayed here for our wedding weekend and stayed both at a regular room and the owners suite but honestly the owners suite is not worth the price the WiFi doesn’t reach there and we ran out of water twice. Overall the hotel is good.

The property is located in a nice area close to everything. You can either walk or used the hotel’s free trolleys to take you wherever you need to go within the Zona Colonial. The staff was friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was good. I would definitely stay again.

What I like the most of my staying was the staff and how comfortable they made me feel. The cleanliness of the hotel and its amenities. The hotel is located at a very convenient location where its surroundings is full of other options as far as, restaurants and bars. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel. One downside is no breakfast and their buffet option is too expensive for its selection.

Tbis is the only place to stay when in Santo Domingo. This is an affordable 5 star hotel. Service is as good as it gets. Rooms are super comfortable. Everything about the place is spectacular.

We only stayed a night, the Billini should train the staff to be more efficient and professional . When we arrived the personnel from the front desk was having dinner and the whole lobby smelled like onions. For breakfast we had to ask for the waitress and apparently was having a bad day and didn’t share not even a smile. A little effort can go anlong way. The Billini can be a great hotel if the staff cooperates a little more.

Property is well maintained and staff are helpful but the old historical buildings are in disrepair and very little maintenance has been done to restore and preserve the sites We got a local guide to take us through the sites and explain the history Overall it’s not bad

Wow wow este hotel está más que perfecto no solo por la ubicación en la zona colonial pero también por las personas que trabajan hay. Tremendo servidor parte de todossss no podrían mencionar solo uno porque todos nos trataron muy bien. Para mi el servicio y la limpieza es todo y este hotel se lleva mil estrella de mi parte. Gracias, sigan trabajando así, Así si es grato regresar al país de uno a turistiar.

Rénové avec beaucoup de gout, avec tout le confort, des prestations de choix ,beaucoup de charme. Le staff est bien formé et fait tout son possible pour répondre à la demande des clients. L'hotel est situé dans le quartier historique, on peut se promener ,diner et aller prendre un verre à n'importe quelle heure .
