Very comfortable stay, but terrible breakfast.
This hotel was wonderful for us in terms of location, service and comfort. It is right in the center of town, close to the outdoor market and cathedral. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The AC actually worked, which we can't say for many three star hotels in Spain. If you are sensitive to noise, the location might not be the best because there will be talking and shouting throughout the night, but we didn't mind it once we closed all the windows. The only negative thing we will say is how lame the breakfast was. Don't pay the hefty $14/pp for it if it is not already included in your rate. The food selection was extremely limited, and they ran out of so many things by 9am (breakfast is 8-10am) and was very slow to replenish due to lack of staff. We wished we had just gone elsewhere for breakfast. BUT, other than that, it was overall a very pleasant experience!

Old world quaint and clean stay
Very quaint hotel The location was excellent next to open food market where the chefs pick their food for their restaurants in the same area. Very vlean and friendly staff. We had a room that overlooked the cafes. It was fun to people watch below.

The reception stuff was helpful. But the location was very bad. It’s located nearby the very busy strict where young people shout and make loud noises ALL NIGHT. I couldn’t sleep at all.

Definitely recommend!
A lovely hotel and an amazing place in the middle of the Old Town. I had a feeling that the owner is absolutely in love with his/her hotel: how else could one explain all those details which make the place so different and cosy? Reception staff is just excellent. They know how to help you before you ask. I'll recommend this hotel to all my friends and hopefully also come back here one day.

Excellent boutique hotel..well placed Would return mainly due to the very helpful Reception staff..However there were 2 concerns 1) Great rooms ...but attention needs to be centred on noise levels from other rooms!!! Literally you could hear everything!! 2) If self parking then advice on how and where to park prior to the stay would have been very helful

Loved the location
Initially we had some difficulty finding this clean, well-kept hotel so close to the Cathedral of St. James. I would advise calling the hotel directly once you get into this city for personal direction. Off-site parking but you can drop and pick-up luggage from front door of hotel. We loved the location—walk out into a small plaza with bar and restaurant available within steps. Most importantly, the front desk staff were helpful to weary travelers! We were made to feel welcome when checking in and they even helped load our luggage when we left! We didn’t speak Spanish but hotel staff did a great job with English directions. Rooms were well kept and we loved the windows that opened into the plaza for fresh air! We would be happy to return!

A charming Parisienne-style hotel in the heart of
This is a wonderful, old European-style hotel with modern, warm updates in a perfect, charming location. If you can nab a corner room (rooms that end in 4 or 2), even better. It has a fabulous restaurant downstairs that's open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And the staff could not be more helpful, I should know as I ended up staying here 5 nights! The rooms are spacious and the amenities are modern. I would stay here again in a second!

Get your money's worth in Santiago

From booking in to booking out the hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful, showing us routes in and out of the city, closest carparks all important in a citycente where no cars allowed. A gem in the center of Santiago de Compostela
I can say so many good things about this hotel, however for the sake of being concise, let me summarize it like this: The hotel is charming, majestic traditional architecture, tastefully decorated, centrally located, clean...simply put it is just great. The staff is friendly and always willing to help, they are simply the best. Thanks Sara and Maria! I love this place!

The staff are very friendly and helpful particularly Maria at reception. Location is in the old town- beside the market and not too far from the Cathedral. The chocolate croissants for breakfast were so good.

Beautiful little modest hotel in a fabulous location. Steps away from the market and a couple short blocks form cathedral and all sites. Great restaurant downstairs and they even have hair straightener etc you can request from the desk. Amazing place for the price!

A total gem of a hotel
This hotel is a gem- the room was beautiful and the staff could not have been more helpful. Only downside is the neighbourhood can get a little noisy but only on the Saturday night. The decor is really lovely and there are little touches that really make the stay special.

THE place to stay at in Santiago
Absolutely Perfect. Stayed here after walking the Camino Frances, and was looking for somewhere close to the cathedral, comfortable, and spacious. This is the place for all of that. It was a 2 minute walk to the cathedral, THE most comfortable mattress and great shower, and plenty of room to move around - with a great view of some cafes and fresh fruit market below. (We had room 303). The place was super quiet, the top level (there are 4 levels) has a relax room where you can just sit around and read, or use the free computer. The hotel does clothes washing (it sends your clothes away and returns them in 24 hours - although they rushed mine and had them back at 9pm as I was heading off early the next day). There is nothing to hard for the friendly staff here. Maria was outstanding. We were recommended a few restaurants by the staff - and one of the recommendations was THE best food we had in all of Spain. It really is THE only place to stay at when in Santiago. You won't be disappointed.

Love this hotel! On this trip we stayed in several places and this was one of my favorites! Great staff, rooms, food, and location. The only downside is that because of its location it can get loud if you are on the lower floors.

The hotel was fantastic - very comfortable, very spacious, and very clean. The included breakfast and coffee were amazing and the staff was extraordinarily helpful. The hotel, however, was very difficult to find via car, and it overlooked a market that got noisy in the mornings.

After the Camino
Spent two days after my camino at this hotel. Staff was very helpful with getting the camino laundry done and all other requests. Great place to stay since it s only about a five minute walk to the cathedral. Can"t say enough good about the staff.

Nice boutique hotel in Santiago de Compostela
This was a very nice hotel in a great location near the Cathedral and right next to a large market. The staff was incredibly nice and the breakfast was perfect. The room was small but clean and comfortable.
