We originally booked the standard room but the previous guest smoked inside which left cigarette smell throughout so we requested to switch which they approved no problem, and we even got upgraded to the sea view room (granted it was the few available rooms at that time, which we are thankful for). There are good cafes within 5-10 min walk, the metro station is 10min walk, but there are bus stops within 3 min in front of the building that leads you to the main area of the city. That being said, the main area (aka Sagrada, gothic and other Gaudi attractions) are about 30min transportation from here so the commute can be a bit long if you’re not used to it. Location was great too. Lots of supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. We used Bolt to go to different places for the first part of the trip and rented a car for the second part to explore farther distances.
