Fantastic experience at the Altair, we were contacted before arrival to confirm our check in time and they then got a room ready early for us. The room itself was extremely large and extremely clean, with a huge bed that appeared to be two queens joined together. Minibar prices were cheap and the room looked very recently renovated, with a lovely combination of wood and exposed brick. Also provided us a kettle and boarding pass printing without charge. Lovely staff.

We've been to Santiago 5 times, staying in different places each time. This was the best accommodation by far. Great location, just a few minutes walk from the main square and cathedral, spacious, clean, very comfortable, quiet day and night. It even has a small terrace at the back. Great communication, with clear instructions on how to access the property.

Nothing short of magic. It was a big disappointment that we couldn't get into the restaurant, however, that shows how good it must be.

A small smart boutique hotel with a delightful garden on a quiet street next to the park and close to a fab Michelin restaurant. Excellent service. We did pay extra for a larger room.

Our stay was perfect. The room was beautiful, clean & comfortable. Excellent bed linen & towels. Fridge stocked daily with water & orange juice. Secure & safe building. Excellent communication from the owner. Location was perfect. I would recommend this place to stay

We love staying at PR Tambre. The location is superb, the rooms are comfy and clean and the knowledge share by Eva always helps us to enjoy our visit. The staff is fantastic, very polite and friendly. Overall a great place to stay when in Santiago.

Great position to stay in Santiago after Camino walk

Very close to the cathedral in the old city, plenty of bars and very good restaurants nearby. Rooms are compact but very well presented and clean. Reception staff were very helpful and recommended a great restaurant nearby (Casa Felisa)

A true 5 star experience! All member’s of staff were very friendly and helpful . Large room, comfortable beds , great bathroom ( with a bath 😁) Tea / coffee making facilities and complimentary water appreciated. Restaurant was excellent- breakfast was wonderful with a huge choice . We stayed here after completing the Camino de Santiago and it was the perfect hotel to relax and restore our energy . Thank you 🙏

Lovely boutique hotel in the old town, highly recommend it

My partner and I just spent three nights at this beautiful hotel in Santiago de Compostela. We were made very welcome, the staff are courteous and helpful. Our room was comfortable and meticulously clean. The location is very central to points of interest all within walking distance. Our experience there was fantastic from the moment we arrived until we left. I highly recommend staying at this special place.

Very good breakfast and all day free hot drinks. Both staff at reception were very helpful. Would stay again and definitely recommend. Nice quiet area close to town centre

The hotel is in the old city and close to all the main destinations like the cathedral, museum of the Galician people, parks, etc. The staff was super helpful, communicated very clearly in English (and were kind about my broken Spanish). They also helped arrange a taxi to the airport when we were leaving. The room was cozy, clean, and well airconditioned. Would highly recommend.
