Given the rental price, the property’s condition was below expectations. This caused us to be late for an event as we had to address the issue with the owner. The owner was defensive, insisting they had cleaned the house themselves, despite clear evidence otherwise, and confirmed they do not use a professional cleaning company. After direct communication, the owner cleaned the property that evening, and the second night was acceptable. The poor first impression and defensive response was disappointing and insulting.
