"It was clean, tidy and very near to the airport for taking flights"

"This is a pretty good place to stay at. It’s all on one floor but keep in mind it’s up two flights of stairs. On the site it does say that there is no elevator but it doesn’t state clearly that it’s on the second floor. The bathroom was super clean however the floors could use some work there was lots of dirt no carpet. Would stay again if I bring someone to take my suit case up the stairs. The owner was very nice and checks on you throughout your stay. "

"Fantastic location, relaxed hotel though check in was complicated. Facilities to prepare your own breakfast. Good value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurant next door and very close to a grocery store. "

"Room was comfortable and clean in a great location. Luisa was approachable and helpful. Very convenient location and easy access to the main attractions and transport links. Breakfast was of good quality but a hot drink, juice and pastry is not really sufficient. However i would certainly recommend this as a base for your stay in Pisa."

"Room was clean. Bathroom also clean. Shower didn’t have much pressure. Coffee and tea available for use during stay. Room was very cool and no heaters. Good location for airport took us 5 mins walk. 40 minute walk to tower of Pisa or €20 in a taxi which was a bit of a pain. Good value for a short break "

"This is a lovely, clean place to stay just a few minutes walk from Pisa airport. There was tea and coffee and snacks for us to help ourselves and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable."

"Overall very clean newly refurbished rooms, unfortunately there is only one bathroom / shower area to be shared by all guests. Potentially you could have eight to ten people accessing the bathroom facilities. There appears to be four different rooms on the floor. If you are staying here you have to phone ahead to arrange the handover of the keys as there isn’t anyone on-site "

"Villa Alta provides beautiful history and art-intense setting, wonderful atmosphere and comfortable conditions for memorable romantic, family or individual stay and events. It is located very close to the cities of Lucca and Pisa, surrounded by the very well-designed and kept Mediterranean garden with the clean and beautiful pool aria. Our family enjoyed peace and quiet at the time of our stay. Food was great, too. We highly recommend this place. "

"The hotel is in the centre of Luca and within walking distance of anything you could want within the walled city. I felt safe as a solo female traveller and was comforted by the rooms' security. Breakfast was outstanding, the staff was friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable, and the showers had great pressure with lots of hot water. Housekeeping had an eye for detail at this hotel; everything was clean upon arrival, and the turn-down service was thoughtful with my belongings while doing...

"It was a perfect setting for our stay in Carrara. Our host was extremely generous throughout our stay and a wealth of information about the history of the area and also ran an antique shop next door. "Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and bed was comfortable and air con worked very well in bedroom in a heatwave! Breakfast room was a little tight for the number of guests staying and air con did not really operate that well in reception area and breakfast room. We enjoyed our stay in Lucca and Villa Romantica!"

"10min walk to the nearest train station to get to other areas of italy such as florence and cinque terre. 15min walk to the tower of Pisa. Clean chalet, friendly & helpful staff, shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Kitchen area equipped with basics for cooking, there is no kettle,toaster, oven or microwave - just a 4 ringed gas hob which i feel could be improved more. Lots of mosquitos so ensure you pack repellant. Towels to hire. Good quality supermarket 10min walk away. I would definitely stay here...
