The ability to leave luggage really helped as we only wanted to stay a day but still do everything - which we were able to do. The shutters were really good at keeping light out so we could sleep well. We wouldn't have minded a double mattress instead of two pushed together, but this was minor. It cost about 15 Euros to the accommodation by taxi. We moved to Florence next day so it was perfect for an overnight stay. The room was basic but compact and clean. There is a kitchen which is convenient. However, the walls are rather thin and a couple of young tourists were taking rather loudly in the corridor at 11.30pm which was annoying. I had to ask them to be quiet. The supermarket is very close to the accommodation which was convenient for breakfast items. The accommodation is situated in a nice quiet location, not far from the Tower of Pisa. The host, Francesco, is very helpful and communicative. The people went out of there way to be accommodating. Unfortunately, the beds were very uncomfortable. We had a daybed and a double bed. Both seemed to be a matress on slats. The daybed leaned forward. I thought I would fall out. Both were very squeaky and hard. We had a really bad nights sleep.
