Walkable, urban location is a highlight of this property. The condo sits in the heart of a dozen great restaurants, bars, bistros, cafes (all just steps away!) and is less than an 8-minute walk to the center of the Santa Fe Plaza. The condo is situated on a busy commercial street, with commercial properties next door. (ChopStix restaurant on the north side and a bagel shop on the south side.) There is also TerraCotta Wine Bistro, just a three minute stroll from the condo, right by the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum. Enjoy a charcuterie board, or a local beer, before you explore the vibrant museum full of Georgia O’Keeffe masterpieces. This downtown area has a robust artistic legacy, rugged desert beauty, and tantalizing, multi-ethnic Southwestern-Style cuisine.
This ocher-colored home appears to rise up from the land naturally, with warm hues of earth and golden sunlight. Gentle contours of the walls and arched doorways evoke organic curves of the desert landscape. This condo has a classic Southwestern-inspired palette and decor. Rich, warm hues of sienna, umber, ocher, gold, and copper impart a welcoming, energizing ambiance. The warmth is contrasted with bright splashes of turquoise and cerulean blue, reminiscent of azure desert skies.
Living Spaces:
This bright, open design of the kitchen/living/dining space makes this single-story condo so inviting, enchanting and comfortable for entertaining. The living room has ceiling vigas, recessed lighting, a ceiling fan, a large, brown leather sofa (also a Queen-size sleeper), a burnt sienna-colored armchair, and a coffee table, all nicely arranged around a turquoise blue entertainment center with SmartTV. Cozy up on the sofa for relaxing conversation, pleasure reading, or streaming your favorite shows or movies.
The living room charm is enhanced by a gas Kiva fireplace, elegant drapes, throw pillows, and an area rug boasting southwestern textiles, a vintage wooden chest, and tribal basketry with natural fibers and earthy color palettes. Vibrant fine wall art adds sophistication to this space. French doors from the living room open out to the dining/kitchen area. Close the doors for privacy, or open them for socializing and entertaining.
The living room does share a central partition wall with the neighboring unit, so some noise does occasionally pass through. Please keep this in mind and be respectful of noise levels, especially at night/during quiet hours.
Kitchen & Dining:
The sleek, modern and fully-stocked chef’s kitchen has natural hardwood cabinets, warm-tone granite countertops, and state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances including a full size-fridge, double-basin sink, microwave, four-burner gas range, oven, and dishwasher. The kitchen also features a skylight in the ceiling Vigas, which illuminates the cozy kitchen with indescribably clear Southwestern light, and radiates an old-world aesthetic.
A kitchen passthrough with granite breakfast bar divides the kitchen and dining room and offers stool seating for two. This breakfast bar is just the spot to sip your morning abode coffee provided by the AVD team, savor a green chili bagel or share an evening cocktail. This open/pass-through design with bar seating makes the kitchen a dynamic hub. A chef is never isolated from the social atmosphere, and mouthwatering culinary aromas will waft through the living space.
Just beyond the kitchen pass-through and breakfast bar is a rustic, mahogany color formal dining table with seating for four, below a simple, wrought iron-style chandelier. Geometric tile fine art and a small, distressed-style turquoise-hued sideboard, add traditional charm to this dining space. Gather here with friends and family to dine and make memories of a lifetime.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms:
The elegant primary bedroom has a king size bed with matching nightstands and reading lamps, a southwestern-style hand-woven area rug, and warm, earthy decor. There’s a work desk, desk chair, and a Smart-TV, a full-size mirror, and a large, walk-in closet with a bureau.

Cozy casita! With in walking distance to downtown. During your stay check out bowltawns bagelry…ahhhmazing unique bagels.
The home is well equipped and the bed is comfortable.
Walking distance to everything, museums, art galleries, great restaurants. The condo was spacious and tastefully appointed. Close to a main street, there was some road/construction noise but it was not bad at all. Would definitely stay here again
The thoughtfulness of the owners was very apparent. Everything we would need was there and more little treats as a welcome. Thank you for providing a comfortable and welcoming place for our stay. Bed and pullout couch were super comfy.
This unit was very nicely appointed and maintained. The check-in and check-out information was accurate and to the point. The furnishings were first-class. Lastly, the location of this unit placed us within walking distance of the Plaza. We highly recommend this place. We could not have been happier with our rental.
We both loved this well furnished home only blocks from the Square. In this area homes and businesses are all intermixed so there’s a coffee and bagel shop next door and restaurants nearby. This was great so we didn’t have to drive. The home was comfortable, clean, well decorated snd so nice to come home to. I think we’ll be back!
We had a lovely one-week stay in this property. The casa is spacious and comfortable, beautifully appointed and very well stocked. Location is ideal: an easy walk into the city center, as well as easy access out of the city into the wonderful countryside around Santa Fe. There's a variety of eating places nearby and two good food markets a few blocks away. The hosts are excellent, providing useful local information and responsive to any questions or requests. Both check-in and check-out were seamless. We'd stay here again!
What is there to say? The location near downtown Santa Fe was ideal, the property was clean and inviting (and dare I say, cozy -- perfect for two!), and there were many restaurants, shops, galleries, museums, etc., within easy walking distance. Even road construction on Guadalupe Street wasn't an issue, as we're accustomed to it (on a more never-ending scale) in Las Vegas. Plus, it was well stocked with piñon coffee, always a bonus! If you want a pleasant home-away-from-home in beautiful Santa Fe, stay here -- you'll be glad you did!
Great Location but but very thin walls. Made the TV next door really loud. Understand now why there were so many ear plugs around. You should warn people about the nature of duplex noise levels.
But otherwise a great place to stay, good food places next door/near by, and a very easy walk to central Santa Fe. We enjoyed our stay.

Spacious, nicely appointed, great location, walking distance to everything
One of the cleanest VRBO properties we have stayed in. The unit is nicely decorated and well appointed. Great Place. We loved the lockable walled-in back patio for our bikes. The location is wonderful, walking distance to everything. The unit has a nice, cold A/C. The only possible downside, but not for us, is the traffic noise on Guadelupe Rd. IF you have the windows open. It was warm during our visit, so we left the A/C with windows closed, so no problem. If you wanted to open the windows, the road noise might be bothersome. There is ample parking in back of the unit. Hope to stay here again!
Inviting and convenient space for two adults and two dogs.
This adobe townhouse served us well during our week in Santa Fe. As two tall people, we genuinely enjoyed stretching out on the king bed, which had plenty of pillows and soft linens - the setup felt comparable to a luxury hotel. We also appreciated the spacious shower, full sized bottles of toiletries, and large leather couch in the living area. We rarely used the car, and almost exclusively walked to the Plaza or Railyard and even up to Canyon Road. You’re literally a handful of blocks from multiple coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants. It was too cold to enjoy the private back patio, but I suspect it’s a great spot for a glass of wine on a summer evening. We appreciated our hosts getting back to us within minutes when we had trouble using the front lock in very cold weather.
This is an incredible place to stay in Santa Fe. We’ve done the hotels before in Santa Fe but why stay in a hotel when you can have this.
Unit is highly outfitted, super clean and very upscale. Hosts were fantastic and very responsive. Perfect location to get to the plaza.
Private walled patio behind the unit which is a plus.
Other reviewers commented about thin walls and noise from the road in front of the unit but we didnt notice this. Was very quiet.
Great places to eat right next to and across the street from the unit (The Bee across the street has the best enchiladas I have ever had!)
Just note - the unit does face a busy (for Santa Fe) road but we didn’t have any issues. We loved it and will use this unit every time we are back in Santa Fe.
This VRBO was exactly as shown on the site. The proximity to the Plaza of Santa Fe was very close, walking distance. The casa was very cute and a great deal. I priced nice hotels (La Fonda, El Dorado, Drury) and they were $70+ more a night for a base two queen bed room. This place was a suite +++, on steroids. Everything you need was provided and the host left a very nice welcome gift. We highly recommend this VRBO location. There were two things that could have made it more perfect, a) you share a thin wall with another VRBO and can hear their activity (i.e - TV, conversation, etc), b) the rental is on a somewhat busy street and you can hear traffic. These are also situations that you would possibly encounter at a nice hotel too (i.e. doors slamming from other rooms, noisy neighbor, elevator traffic, etc.) Other than that, everything was A++++
This was a cozy spot very close to the plaza and the sights of Santa Fe. It has off street parking which is great as you can ditch the car and explore on foot.
This was an excellent property. It's located in an ideal area that's walkable to the plaza. There are also great restaurants and convenience right outside the front door. We enjoyed the back patio in the cool mornings and at sunset.
