Bishop\`s Lodge Villa, Hiking, Views Resting in the foothills of the coveted gated community of Bishop\`s Lodge Villas, at the end of a private cul-de-sac, this property is only minutes from the Plaza yet offers secluded outdoor space with forever views to the northwest. Approximately 2150 square feet. A Vacation Different has partnered with Ski Santa Fe to offer our guests 15% off lift tickets this winter season! Plan your ski vacation and save when you book your stay with us! (Discount valid for lift tickets only.) Guests have access to two swimming pools within the community. PLEASE NOTE: The pools are open from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day weekend annually and is not heated. Guests must sign pool waiver before access. This striking 3 bedroom 3 bathroom stand alone villa home enjoys perhaps the best views in the community. Captured through soaring windows are meandering arroyos, sweeping vistas, and dramatic mountains. These ceiling to floor windows occupy several rooms including the great room and the master bedroom, both of which are embellished with high viga ceilings and kiva fireplaces. An open floor plan with architectural woodwork throughout leads to spacious rooms; some with access to private exterior flagstone patios. Other amenities include inviting community swimming pools, security gate, and easy access to miles of hiking trails in the Santa Fe National Forest. Each of the 3 bedrooms is furnished with exceptional quality, rustic Santa Fe Style furniture. The master suite contains a king bed, cable TV, sitting area and opens onto a private patio perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee. The bathroom adjacent this master contains a jetted tub and large walk-in shower. The second master bedroom also has a king size bed, cable TV, sitting area and opens onto another private patio with exceptional southern and western views of the mountain ranges. The second master also comes with an en suite bathroom which includes a tub/shower. The third bedroom also has an en suite bathroom with tub/shower, cable TV, leather queen sleeper-sofa, with a premium gel mattress plus egg crate for a perfect sleep every night along with a full desk including phone, printer and monitor for guest\`s use. We even provide a ream of paper and ensure the printer has back up ink for our business travelers. Beds were super comfortable, kitchen had everything we could want, and the area was quiet but close to everything we wanted. We hiked a lot, and found, with a little detective work, that one of the best hiking trails (Windsor) was within walking distance from the house Weather was perfect too. There was the balloon festival while we were there, and even the eclipse! We didn’t really get a chance to use the outside patios or the fireplace but we will next time! We very much enjoyed our stay at Bishops Lodge. The place was clean, decor lovely, and the kitchen well-stocked. Our family of four was very comfortable. It's just a short drive into town. The views were beautiful and although it felt secluded and private, we were only 5 minutes from the Plaza. We appreciated the travel book that the property managers put together for us, with suggestions for 'things to do' and dining. They were also very helpful answering questions ahead of check-in. It was a joy to spend time with family here in the mornings and evenings, and the entire day skiing on the mountain. Everything was well appointed, and first class. Decorated in Santa Fe style. The spaciousness of the house is much larger than the pictures show and I’m not even sure there was anything in the description that mentioned the view or the tranquillity here compared to staying downtown. This is a short 15 minute drive so don’t be worried about the commute. There’s no need to be in walking distance. The hosts were always in communication with us to ensure we were happy. I would 100% book this house for any future stays to Santa Fe. We already miss it and we just left. ##### John E. This house exceeded our expectations - a great location - on a hillside with amazing views but a 10 minute drive from anywhere we wanted to eat or hang out in town. Texted property manager about a few items that were missing and they brought them over right away. The fireplace was a bit challenging to use--would have liked to see a glass door to close opening as fire is burning out. Easy access to several hikes on the property, and short drives to many other scenic hikes. To top it all off, we had wonderful fall color at Aspen Vista on Hyde Park Road. Large kitchen for easy meal prep, and very close to Skyfire for a splurge evening out with a world class menu. ##### Antoinette G.
