Hummingbird House, a centrally-located 3BD charmer

CENTRAL - Hummingbird House On Puye is a recent renovation of a historic 1950 Stamm house, with all the charms of traditional Santa Fe plus the amenities and comforts of a new house. Completed mid-summer of 2018, you will find a fabulous 3 BR and 2 BA home with individual AC in each room, spacious living, and a large outdoor patio with fire pit. Located in the heart of Santa Fe's "mid-town", Hummingbird House is walking distance to restaurants, and is only a 5-7 minute drive to The Plaza.

This charming renovation offers visitors a taste of mid-century Santa Fe. With brand new heating and air system, a new master bedroom suite with ensuite, all new kitchen with stainless appliances and granite, two new bathrooms (one full bath, one 3/4 bath with walk-in shower) and new outdoor living space with two seating areas, fire pit and landscaping, you can have it all. With the exception of some vintage, artisanal pieces, furnishings are new as are all linens.

While the home is compact at just over 1,000 square feet, it is cozy and comfortable and outside spaces make it live larger. It is ideal for 4 adults and two children, but can accommodate up to 6 adults.

This child and pet-friendly property has a completely walled/enclosed backyard. Up to two pets are allowed, but guests must first message the owner for pre-approval.

Walk to restaurants like the historic Pantry restaurant, Jambo Café, Baskin Robbins, El Portrillo Mexican, Matisse Bakery, Wecks family restaurant and more. The new Santa Fe bike trail passes through the neighborhood three blocks away allowing you easy access to The Railyard, Downtown and the rest of the city. Within 2 minutes drive are vintage furniture stores, art galleries, the Broken Spoke bike shop, retail stores and a grocery store. Driving times to other area amenities:

During renovation, under a full moon, 4 hummingbirds hovered over a flowering bush in the front yard. It was a magical moment and the House earned the name "Hummingbird House".

Fantastic stay
Loved the house entirely. It was the perfect size and comfortably decorated. The only problem was we couldn't stay longer. It covered all our needs. Great outside area too. Definitely want to come back.

Lovely!
Perfect for the 4 of us. Walkable to coffee/breakfast and other restaurants. Just off a main road, so access was convenient but a couple blocks back so it was also quiet. I kept being impressed about the amenities, cleanliness, and attention to detail. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We’ve been coming to Santa Fe for several years and this was our first time not staying close to the plaza. It was a perfect house for us and the yard was great for our pups. The back porch was a great spot to hang out on the comfy sofa. We found so many new places that we never would have found had we not stayed here. The host is super responsive as well. The street looked a little off when we first arrived but honestly this is a great little house and we felt perfectly safe and at home!

Cozy home base for a Santa Fe stay
This is a beautiful home, we had an excellent stay. The back porch, especially, was a great place to relax in the evenings. Victor was very responsive and helpful, and the house had everything we needed. Super-easy access to downtown, Meow Wolf, and several nearby day trips. Plenty of room for our family of six - very quiet and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Convenience and Comfort
We stayed here for 3 nights while we were in Santa Fe for a wedding. The house is just as the pictures show, very charming, clean, and has everything you may need during your visit. The back yard is very beautiful; we probably spent as much time out there as we did inside. The location was great; we were not far from any of the places we wanted to visit while in Santa Fe. We recommend staying here, and would definitely rent this house again if we visit Santa Fe.

Clean, lovely and easy
This NM clay home with Santa Fe decor is located in a nice residential area and close to great breakfast place-The Pantry, and other restaurants. Equipped with everything you would need and spotlessly clean! We would stay here again.
