This is a lovely and quaint old motel right on Cerrillos, so the location is great. The outside of the motel is beautifully painted and very sweet. The interior was dark and would be beautiful if more care had been taken with painting and decorating. I realize the renovation is done on a budget: the furnishings are quirky, but functional. I read the reviews about unsafe features outside, but I did not experience any of that. It was an acceptable place to stay & good breakfast place almost next door (the Pantry). I come to Santa Fe frequently & this place is convenient and the price is right. I will probably stay here again.
This was a great place to stay. The staff was very helpful, even though I checked in very late. The rooms are comfortable and have a bit of retro charm. Great price as well.
Only caveat— the WiFi was a mixed bag. It works, but not strongest signal.
The motel was conveniently located near all of the attractions and things we had planned to do. It was also very clean, and the roses were absolutely beautiful. The motel was immaculately kept inside and out the service was friendly and helpful.
Classic Rte. 66 New Mexico motel. Very Santa Fe style with antique furniture and comfortable bed. Very friendly owner who makes sure everything is good for your stay.

The wifi did not work and the person ob duty Simon said it was the adobe walls that caused it. I explained that I needed to communicate with my work and needed reliable wifi. He ket me try another room at the other end of the property and it was no better. He then said it was my laptop causing the problem. I pulled out my iPad and showed him it was the same. I went down the street to the Motel 6 and their wifi worked just fine.
I was only there for less than an hour and asked for a refund and was told I needed to go through Expedia for a refund. Expedia said it was up to the Motel owner and they declined. my request
Cute place. No wifi. Terrible service.
It was an old old adobe property, updated a bit- still old decor and old carpet (at least old looking) but it was super clean, super convenient and the people running it (front desk and cleaning) were great. It was definitely a small room, but closets and dresser to stash stuff if you wanted. I would choose this over any of the chains on S Cerrillos road. Also, this was much closer in to downtown than most of the chain motels.
Charming former motor court motel. Clean and well maintained. Could have used tissues and a hair dryer (for my wife) in the room. Otherwise a solid place to stay for the value.
Cozy, clean and friendly motel located conveniently on the Santa Fe main drag. Like stepping back in time with a cool neon sign and vintage Southwestern charm with no hipster nonsense. Management accommodated our slightly late arrival with no worries.
Cute motel, staff was very nice, and room was very clean. Conveniently located on one of the main roads in town, but didn't notice any excessive traffic noise throughout the night which was a nice surprise.
