This home is owned by two artists who have thoughtfully decorated the home with their spectacular original art. Originally a 1940's adobe, it was faithfully remodeled in 2004 by renowned adobe architect David F. Smith. LIVING AREA It sports 1850 sq. ft. of old world charm, 11-foot ceilings, radiant heat, skylights, and abundant natural light from the desirable northern exposure. KITCHEN AND DINING The delightful kitchen will inspire you to cook traditional New Mexican biscochitos and enchiladas! BED AND BATH There are two master suites and a third guest bedroom. OUTDOOR SPACE French doors lead to an outdoor patio with a kiva fireplace from three different rooms. Casa Artista is in a great location close to the Square and Canyon Road, but suffers from a poor view of a dirt parking lot. We knew that if we were going to have a break during covid restrictions that we would be spending most of the time at the place we rented so it had to be even more special than normal. We had not necessarily planned to go to Santa Fe, but as soon as we saw this casita it jumped out of the 100s we had looked at in the 3 areas we were considering visiting and we booked it immediately- even though it was a 13 hour drive away for a short weekend stay. It was well worth it! The photos are true to life though the place feels bigger than expected. Everything was spotless with anything you would need; from the snacks on arrival to the wood for the outside Kiva where we had our Bloody Mary brunch and enjoyed the sunshine in the walled garden. Though it got chilled outside at night the house stayed warm and comfortable. I could not fault it in any way. Even the location was great with nearby restaurants for take out meals. I congratulate Two Casitas on running such an upscale operation and highly recommend them. We will be back! ##### Eva S. Great house. Everything was super clean and thoughtfully staged in light of Covid-19\. The house was a very comfortable and secure location. We knew we'd want to spend extra time at the casita since many restaurants and museums were still closed. Even the front porch was very relaxing with its two wooden rocking chairs.
