Santa Cruz Holidays from £1,368

Food& shuttle carts are the absolute best. bartenders are super friendly. The pools are comfortable and big. The hotel is a bit dated but you are rarely in the room that it really doesn’t matter. Stay away from the timeshare selling people, they will take 2 1/2hours of your vacation time that you cannot get back. Otherwise this is a good hotel with beautiful grounds and good pool. 8/10 recommend.

Overall, I would describe the experience as good, but not great. The staff was extremely friendly, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. Everyone was pleasant and accommodating. However, the food was average We were told that reservations were not required for the restaurants. However, when we arrived, we were informed that they had reached their nightly capacity and could not accommodate any more guests. We were instructed to return at 5:00 p.m. to receive a beeper, which would notify us around 8:00 p.m. when we could enter. Essentially, reservations are necessary, even though we were told otherwise. This made it difficult to take full advantage of the all-inclusive experience. When I initially checked in, I was told that I could move rooms and was even given a specific room number. The following day, when I went to follow up, I was told that the staff member from the previous evening should not have made that commitment or provided a room number. It wasn't a major issue, but it was disappointing to be given information that turned out not to be accurate. The washroom by the pool had two toilets without toilet seats, and two faucets were not working. One of the highlights of our stay was the resort's app. I was able to request additional water, towels, and housekeeping services directly through the app. Everything was delivered as requested, without having to call the front desk or repeatedly follow up. Not a bag vacation but not a Wow
