The supplies were enough and we found everything we needed. There’s a stairway to the private beach at the end of 12th. (One street next) which we went down everyday for walks. The interior is dated, to be sure, but it is VERY comfortable and "homey". I really enjoy being here. It's also VERY secure, almost fortress like. Fabulous Views. Charming decor features inside. Unfortunately, a long list of maintenance issues for both bathrooms, kitchen, electrical fixtures, and furnishings. Cooking and washing appliances were grungy. Mold is evident inside. Covid protocols outlined in manager's literature were not adhered to. Bath Towels were white, lush, and very clean. Soaps, Shampoos, TP, Paper Towels, et al provided. Small appliances functioned well. Outside had an abundance of dog pooh in the yard; the deck furniture was very dirty; and the deck had lots of cobwebs and dead plants in the boxes. The deck is fabulous and the bedrooms are comfortable. Once block from a great kid and dog friendly beach made it perfect for us! The house had plenty of seating for guests and lots of kitchen accessories for cooking and eating in. The house itself felt like we had stepped back in time to the 1950's or at least what I imagine the 1950's felt like given that it's a bit before my time. It was charming and was perfect for our Christmas holiday. The pots and pans in the kitchen should be updated as well as the linens but overall the charm of the house made up for these shortcomings. The rental agency is very responsive and helpful. They had a nice dried fruit tray waiting for us upon arrival which was a nice touch. We ended up extending our stay by an extra night once we learned it was available and they were very helpful in making this happen. Overall, a very nice stay with the appropriate expectations.
