The best time to visit Santa Catarina Minas, Oaxaca, is during the dry season, which runs from October to May, with the shoulder months of October, November, April, and May often offering the most pleasant experience.During these months, you'll find comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 20 to 30 degrees Celsius, and very little rainfall. This makes it ideal for exploring the town and its surroundings, particularly if you're interested in outdoor activities like visiting local distilleries or taking scenic walks through the agave fields. The clear skies are also great for enjoying the views of the Sierra Madre mountains.Couples looking for a tranquil escape will appreciate the calm weather, allowing for relaxed strolls through the village and cosy evenings. The lower humidity during these months also means a more comfortable experience overall for those who prefer to avoid the intense heat and moisture of the rainy season.Solo travellers will find the dry season particularly convenient for navigating the area, as transport is more reliable, and outdoor excursions are less likely to be interrupted by sudden downpours.
