Nice outside patio and dining with grill. Baby and wedding gear with 4 bedrooms and a cafe style kitchen. This offering is a Registered Santa Barbara City Vacation Rental and not subject to unexpected cancellation. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun! The La Mesa house is a registered home on the Mesa in Santa Barabara with 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, a patio and garage with laundry and a pool table. The driveway handles 2 cars, but supermarket shopping, coffee and pizza cafes are walkable: just 2 blocks away. So is beach access (10 blocks to the stairs down). SBCC is 1.7miles, La Mesa Park just around the corner and all of downtown and the harbor areas are within 5 minutes drive. Centrally located on the Santa Barbara Mesa, this home is walking distance to coffee shops, health food store, Supermarket and more. Also just 2 blocks to the La Mesa Park with kids play and sweeping ocean views. This home is also a 5 minute ride to SBCC on the Mesa. ADD-ONS and OFFERS: 1) Mexican Breakfast or Lunch! During our housekeeping prep for you we will place beautiful sunny bouquet's in the living room (and dining if seperate) and smaller displays in each room. $85 Ride down on Carrillo to downtown in 5 minutes as well and enjoy the walking street of State Street, with many restaurants and shops to enjoy. There is a host of restaurants, clubs and shopping as you park and walk on State St. If you go up State to the 1300 block the interesting areas of State culminate at the Arlington Theater. A rich and historic theater which premiered many a movie in the 30’s and 40’s, and now also hosts the SB International Movie Festival each year. Around the Arlington are several classy restaurants, Bouchon’s, etc. across the street is Carlito’s, a good Mexican place as well. Coming back down State a block or so to Figueroa and hang a left. You are at the Museum of Art at State and Figueroa, but walk a block east on Figueroa and you will be at the upper corner of the SB Courthouse, considered the most beautiful public building in America. Gorgeous architecture and there are tours as well as perfect views of the city from the Tower. Coming back down State you begin to enter the club and activity zone again. There are many movie screens on State street and this main City street, now a walking street from the 500 to the 1500 blocks, ends at Sterns Wharf on the Pacific Ocean. Pets allowed. Smoking out on patio ok. Host has other VR in Santa Barbara, all approved and permitted without concerns of City cancellations. 4 bedrooms sleeping for 8 and new modern kitchen. The only thing I would say needs work is the fan in bathroom doesnt work and theres no window so it gets steamy! Minor and Im sure not a regular thing. You can walk to the best grocery store (Lazy Acres) and other stores as well, also walkable to beach. We had a great time. Would not hesitate to book again if we are coming back to the area. ##### Leah C. It was big enough for our group of six, and sometimes 8\. It was clean and stocked. Loved the pool table in the garage. And a bonus for us was that there is a 240 step walkway, within walking distance from the house, down to the Santa Barbara beach where we watched local surfers on the water and dogs playing on the beach. To top it off, Eliza and David were great to work with and kept in contact all the way through. Thumbs up to La Mesa House! ##### Mark H. Never needed the AC. Nice to have a pool table. Beds were comfortable. Great location in Mesa neighborhood. The backyard was unusable. No backyard maintenance. Missing major kitchen utensils. We had no bowl for salads or colander (who doesn’t eat pasta). No wine glasses (not even stemless). The lighting was very dim in most rooms with almost no light in the dining room. The kitchen was well lit. There is an upstairs apartment that we were not aware of. So maybe if you are college kids the place would be ok. Perfect for spring breakers. ##### Don B. Walking distance to variety of essential stores, beach, parks, and restaurants, even downtown if you want to get a few scenic miles of walking in. •Private driveway large enough for parking 2 compact cars and manual front gate closure. •Quiet, safe neighborhood and nice neighbors. •House was comfortable and roomy for our family of 8\. •Kitchen has just about everything we needed (minus a blender if you’re morning smoothie people like us-2 smoothie places a block from the house though). Great stove! •Bedrooms are roomy and as shown. Queen beds were comfortable (wish we had brought our own pillows though). •Both bathrooms are decent size to accommodate all of us. Plenty of towels, strong water pressure and hot water. •Garage has a pool table!, great washer and dryer, and plenty of room for storing rental bikes. •Backyard was our family pup, Cooper’s room. He seemed to be very happy there and cruised in and out freely. •We didn’t use the backyard, outdoor dinette, or the barbecue-too busy enjoying SB. •We love the location. It’s a neighborhood with family friendly Mesa folk, lots of neighborhood locations for strolling, bike riding, surfing, beach walking/running, and sunset viewing. ##### Diane B. Kitchen was awkward and lacking in basic amenities, but otherwise adequate. Very few cleaning supplies. More instructions needed (oven, garage door, and washing machine all not intuitive to operate). Neighbors were noisy and nosy. Apartment upstairs was unexpected. One shower was dangerously slippery.
