"The property was excellent but a long way from town. Nothing within walking distance and cars were expensive despite short journey. You can rent scooters/motorcycles from the hotel for less than a car trip to town. We found that useful. The restaurant was delicious, particularly the pizza and Indonesian food. Breakfast wasn’t included but we just cooked in the apartment which we expected and was fine. The supermarkets in town are well stocked. The staff were amazing, super helpful and friendly. Despite the distance from town (10-15 min by bike), I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again. The area is quiet and peaceful and apartments are spacious. Beautiful pool to swim in too."

"We were a group of seven and waited around 30 minutes for the airport pickup, followed by another 30 minutes to check in. There were only two staff members handling check-in. The staff were lovely and efficient, but the hotel definitely seemed understaffed given the number of incoming guests. Management may need to look at this. The view is nice, although it can be quite noisy with boats. The telephone in the room was never answered, so if we needed anything, we had to go downstairs. As mentioned in other reviews, there were no hand towels, and the floor towels were not changed during our stay. We stayed here mainly for the convenience of the port, as I was diving every day. For that purpose, it was fine. However, next time I would probably stay a little further away, as Grab bikes are very easy and affordable. Many of the better restaurants are also away from the main street. Overall, the staff were friendly and the location was convenient, but the hotel could definitely improve its staffing and housekeeping."

"In fairness before I booked i knew it was 23 miles away from the center but didnt think it was that far...because of the winding roads ir takes about 30 to 35 mins each way to the center of town and the hotel doesnt have a shuttle service. Taxi driver from the airport became my driver the entire time there so it worked out! Staff was super friendly and the restaurant ( Bajo Banana) had some amazing sunsets and good food. Ask for room cleanings from the owners to ensure it gets done. Other than that overall it was a good stay!"
