But, the Safety, risk and emergency procedures make this a dangerous place to stay. I fell off the jetty due to poor lighting, breaking a number of bones. My husband jumped in and saved me, other guests helped us, while staff were lovely they had no idea, could not swim and no first aid box or stretcher/board. Apparently I am not the first, it has happened before but the owner does not want safe lighting or safety rails installed as it will spoil the ambience. This is a death waiting to happen. If guests had not stepped in to advise and help staff, I hate to think of the outcome. DO NOT STAY here, if you think it won't happen to you, it could, I have at least 6 months rehab ahead and the hotel will not take any responsibility or even care, it's for us to chase up, and we will. It's a pity such a beautiful location with such beautiful staff will be destroyed by not looking at risk to ensure guecustomers or caring."
