The Saxon is one of the great hotels in the world. Elegant, discreet, very secure, it is a joy to be there. Outstanding architecture with spectacular interiors. I have returned to it over the past 12 years and look forward to our next stay.

We had a really lovely short stay at this hotel at the end of our time in South Africa. As a group of three our room was very spacious including having a little living room area and a balcony. The hotel itself is beautiful - it felt very clean and modern. And the staff were so lovely and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay and this was due to friendly, helpful staff in a clean fresh environment. We expected it to be good as other reviews had been very favourable and it certainly met and exceeded our expectations
