Wonderful stay only minutes from both the main gondola and an alternative chairlift. All staff excellent - hot tub superb Chocolate Labrador on meet and greet duties was a bonus!!

Perfect in every way, centre of town minutes walk from everything, particularly ski lifts. Communal areas very comfortable and understated, breakfast perfect, particularly liked home baked cakes. Our room was a good size with comfortable beds, it overlooked the bus terminal above street but were not disturbed once even on NY eve,,perhaps because we were on the top (4th floor). Comfortable room and bed. Central location. Kind staff. When we left we were charged € 55 for the use of facilities (spa and pool) . We booked via Expedia. Normally the hotel facilities are included in the price, and if not it should be specified at arrival.

We really enjoyed our first stay at Vail Mountain Lodge. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We were treated to an unexpected room upgrade which made our trip to Vail extra special. The location of the hotel near the village really is perfect, with an easy walk to restaurants, shops, gondola, trails, etc. Shuttle access and free parking (summer) right outside the door. As before the Hotel provided the perfect end to my vacation. From the 'Happy hour' to the perfectly cooked Eggs Benedict on my day of departure, the staff made everyone welcome.

For our stay, this was the perfect hotel. It had everything required for a comfortable stay - a welcoming staff, satisfying rooms and good facilities. Firstly the breakfast was quite nice, with them providing waffles, yogurt and an adequate range of items. Moreover the room was extremely clean, quite spacious and had quite a nice view. Lovely hotel, great rooms, lovely staff and facilities (especially fantastic the associated Charter Sports ski hire & shop). Keep an eye on additional charges, breakfast is 47usd for two and there is a resort charge of 30usd per room per night as well as 30usd parking charge per night. No different to any other good quality hotel in the area I'm sure but worth considering along side room booking fee.
