Tivoli Lodge

Tivoli Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"The staff did a wonderful job and was knowledgeable with the questions we asked. Greg was on hand most of the time we were there and had our car to us withing 2-3 minutes. He offered us a lot of suggestions and ideas to do around the area. He was defiantly a very nice person to talk with. Our room was not ready when we tried checking in at 3p and again 330. Unfortunately, our room was not ready until a bit after 430P when told it would be no later than 4p. Our room was clean and cleaning staff did an excellent job. The only thing that we did not enjoy with our room was the mattress and pillows. Both were very old and lumps in the bed and pillows. This was not comfortable. The Mountain View was more of the park area in back for the dogs with trees. It was very nice though. Breakfast was good and a good value. The only thing I did not like about breakfast was that they were out of the scrambled eggs. I had asked for them to bring out more but told it would be a while before they were ready. By that time, they were done serving. All in all, I would defiantly stay here again. This property is very nice and a very short walk to Vail Village. Restaurants and shopping were all in this area. "Perfect studio condo for 2 people. Comfortable couch and chair and a complete compact kitchen. Front desk person was super nice and very helpful. Great location, convenient to walking the river walk and many restaurants. Plus a free bottle of wine! Would definitely go back."

"We visited at the end of the summer in early September so definitely "off" season for skiing, so I cannot speak to the price which was cheap for two nights. I'm sure in the winter that price would be 5 times that. I did like the enclosed garage parking, I can imagine in the winter that is amazing to get your car out of the weather. Having the trash/recycling down there enclosed as well was a great design. The room (1 bedroom) was clean and well laid out. My 12 year old daughter reported that the pull out couch was quite comfortable. Now the small negatives: * The room was right by the pool/hot tub area. There were young kids in the pool SCREAMING until almost 10pm. Perhaps that property could make it adults only after 8pm and enforce it. Both days we had little kids in the hot tubs after 9pm?? * Both days the ran out of coffee in the lobby and we had to ask for more to be made. Small nitpicks but overall the property and it's walkable location was amazing! I would definitely come back to ski!"
