The apartment welcomes guests with a large garden featuring a barbecue and a covered relaxation area. The entrance opens onto a sitting room with a sofa, some armchairs and a table with a bench. A short corridor leads to the kitchen with a dining table, equipped with an oven, a dishwasher and a kettle. This room has access to a covered terrace at the back with a large dining table, where guests can enjoy outdoor meals. The sleeping area consists of four bedrooms, one on the ground floor featuring a queen-size bed and a closet, and three on the lower floor, two of them with a queen-size bed and a dresser each, one with a bunk bed, a single bed and a closet. Two bathrooms with showers complete the layout. \*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy. Renowned tourist center, particularly loved by young people for its summer nightlife, San Teodoro also boasts unmissable coastal pearls such as La Cinta, Cala Brandinchi, Lu Impostu, Cala Girgolu and Capo Coda Cavallo. The spectacle of the coast of San Teodoro is completed by its lagoon, a stopping point for pink flamingos during migratory periods and an ideal place for walks and birdwatching. Known in Gallura as “Santu Diàdoru”, it also hosts events not to be missed such as the festival of its patron and the one called “Lu Fuculoni”, during which the population gathers around the bonfires in honor of Sant'Antonio Abate. Finally, you can’t miss the traditional food and wine in the many bars and restaurants and during the festivals. Some goat marinated in myrtle liqueur and some Gallura soup for a meat dinner, sea urchins, bottarga, mussels and oysters if you’d rather taste the local seafood. To accompany your meal, a good Vermentino di Gallura DOCG, and to end it, a delicious seada with honey and a glass of homemade myrtle liqueur. Communication through WhatsApp with the management company was easy at first. We arrived early on Sardinia and wanted to check in early. There were mixed messages that 3pm or 4pm was proper check in. We were given the code finally at 3pm, only to be all in to a completely filthy, not cleaned apartment. And a very HOT area.Cleaning crew arrived after I said some nasty words to the company…There IS a parking space and this is key.We waited an hour in sweltering hot and tired for cleaning to finish. We were left with one roll of paper towels and 2 rolls of toilet Paper for the week. So you definitely have to purchase your own necessities.The trash situation is very confusing on the island. Be prepared. The bins are not clearly Marked at the home. In addition we purchased cheap beach chairs and umbrella as the ones leftover at the house are rusted and rotten. The showers are small and completely spray water everywhere so it’s constantly wet in the bathroom which is dangerous to walk on. I had asked for extra towels with the cleaning crew, but if not we would have had 2 towels each for 5 days. And nothing to mop up the water from the shower.We bought a fan for the upstairs bedroom as it was over 90 degrees F in there.
