The hotel doesn’t have a drop off area or any luggage trolleys, pity the receptionist was curt, abrupt, non informative and dismissive. The hotel appears old and struggling to keep up with travellers requirements. The room was old cashing a good size and clean with aircon. The bathroom was big but the window didn’t work and was screwed open, I asked straight away for the window to be fixed and a handle put on the window as it was also missing. I was told the engineer would come but six days later nothing changed. I saw no management at all. The breakfast staff and cleaners were all delightful. The biggest problem was the pool was discoloured and cloudy and staff had put up a sign (probably weeks before) advising it was still safe to use. We and several others were not going to risk health conditions. The weather was 35 degree plus and we desperately need a pool. In the end we travelled about 15 minutes outside Castelsardo and found lovely beaches. I would recommend using a different hotel. The other reviews said about paper thin walls, this is true. Good point was the seaview and the breakfast.

Clean place, well located - a 5 mins walk to the Center. Besides 2 supermarkets. A small. Hot practical gym.

Very clean hotel. The staff were really nice. The beds are really hard though. But otherwise a very quiet area.

Overall, we had a lovely stay at Pedra Santa. Its biggest advantage is definitely the location—it’s excellent and makes it easy to explore Costa Smeralda. Sardinia is absolutely stunning, and with gorgeous weather every day, it was hard not to enjoy ourselves. The hotel restaurant is very good, with delicious food and an amazing sunset view that made dinner feel extra special. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. There were, however, a few areas that could be improved. On the evening we were getting ready to go to Phi Beach, we asked for an iron. Surprisingly, the staff couldn’t find one anywhere on the property. At first, I was told they only had one, then another staff member said they had several, but they were all “missing.” It was frustrating, especially when trying to get ready for dinner. I also sent two emails before our arrival with a simple request, but never received a reply. In those emails, I mentioned that I’m a travel content creator and kindly asked if it would be possible to have a room with some sort of view, as I planned to feature the hotel on my social media. Unfortunately, we were assigned a room overlooking nothing but bushes. That said, these issues didn’t have a major impact on our overall trip. Upon arrival, we discovered that the patio door to our room was broken. When I pointed out that the door handle wasn’t fully attached, it literally fell off in my hand. The door did not close or lock properly, making the room feel unsafe, especially since it was on the ground floor with direct access from the lawn. Instead of acknowledging the issue, the staff initially tried to convince us that everything was normal. They eventually relocated us, but the replacement room was much smaller, had no view, and was a significant downgrade from what we had originally booked. In addition, the rooms and many of the property’s facilities are outdated and in need of renovation. The overall condition does not reflect what you would expect from a four-star resort. The service throughout our stay was unprofessional, and several staff members came across as rude rather than helpful. Rather than resolving the issue in a customer-focused way, we felt our concerns were dismissed. Based on our experience, this property does not meet the standards of a four-star resort. I would rate it closer to a three-star hotel due to the outdated accommodations, poor customer service, and the way a legitimate safety concern was handled.
