Remote staff consistent with many nice hotels in small towns. Clean and comfortable. Spartan, but all expected accoutrements provided (blow dryer). No outside windows but that helps with sleeping late and is expected when an old mercantile is converted to hostelry. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Definitely one of the cleaner and better lodging places in San Saba! The outlets in our bathroom did not work and there was no windows which can be great for a full nights rest if you like complete darkness.
