"Our stay at Hotel Telluride was exceptional, but what made it truly unforgettable was the extraordinary kindness and humanity shown by the people who work there. I arrived in Telluride shortly after losing my father, during what has been one of the most difficult times in my life. When I checked in, I learned that the hotel had graciously upgraded our room. Waiting for me was a handwritten note of condolence and fresh flowers—an incredibly thoughtful gesture that I will never forget. The General Manager Andrew and Asst Manager Zach were remarkable throughout our stay. Their kindness, respect, and genuine empathy went far beyond hospitality. They understood that sometimes the smallest gestures of compassion can mean everything to someone who is grieving, and they made my family feel truly cared for. The experience throughout the rest of the hotel was equally outstanding. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and Chelsea (our server) was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. There are plenty of beautiful hotels in beautiful places - what sets Hotel Telluride apart are its people. True hospitality isn’t just about comfortable rooms or great service, it’s about making people feel cared for, especially when they need it most. Andrew, Zach, and the entire team at Hotel Telluride gave us an experience we will never forget. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, and look forward to returning under happier circumstances. Thank you for your extraordinary kindness."

"Enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. Was not a fan of the check in process, using kiosks. Seemed rather impersonal. Ouray is a beautiful area, but due to the Gold Mountain Wildfire nearby, the smoke from fire was almost overwhelming and we were mostly confined to our room. The Mineshaft Restaurant associated with the Hotel was excellent as well as the Buffet breakfast."

"Stayed here for the Fourth of July and the experience did not disappoint. We were upgraded to a bigger room and didn’t have any issues with extending our stay by a day. The staff were super nice and professional and the complimentary bottle of wine was a fun way to end the trip. The hotel is also just a few hundred feet from the Gondola, which made it easy to get to/from the town of Telluride. It would be nice if the dining area was opened up to the patio so people could sit outside for breakfast but that may have just been because of the wildfire smoke."
