The Raggio di Sole Holiday Home began as a small dream—one that, despite its humble beginnings, has never been insignificant. We are Elisa and Marco, a couple who have been together in life and at work for many years. We believe in the power of nature and togetherness; it is our love for nature and our passion for spending time together that guide us on this journey, one we hope you’ll join us on. The Raggio di Sole holiday home is divided into two apartments: one is spacious with large rooms, perfect for couples, groups of friends, and families with children; the other is more intimate, featuring French beds. Our saltwater pool overlooks the greenery and will offer you a relaxing experience in close contact with nature. Our holiday home also offers, upon reservation, a 3-person Finnish sauna and a 3-person hot tub in a separate room near the apartments, where you can rejuvenate at any time of day, alone or with others. Outside the apartments, you’ll find a space equipped with tables, chairs, and a barbecue. There is also a laundry room. Once you pass through the gate, you’ll arrive at the private parking area reserved just for you.<br>After many years in the bar and restaurant business, we decided to take a new direction with the Raggio di Sole holiday home, following our hearts completely. Our storey is anything but straightforward, but our values have always remained steadfast in guiding us.<br>In the surrounding area, you’ll find plenty of activities to enjoy: horseback rides that we organise in collaboration with Ruscello Ranch in Bagni di Lucca for both adults and children. Whether you’re an expert or a beginner, you’ll be amazed by the wonders of the woods we’ll explore together. If you’re looking for a holiday full of adventure and fun, just a few minutes away you’ll find rafting organised on the Lima River with canoes, rubber rafts, SUPs, and kayaks. Also just a few minutes away is Canyon Park, where you can go hiking, rock climbing, zip-lining over the Lima River, practice yoga, and enjoy many other experiences in the water and outdoors. Just 5 minutes away lies the town of Popiglio, where you’ll find a bakery, a supermarket, a pharmacy, and a post office. Travelling about 15 km, you can reach both San Marcello Pistoiese (P.T.) and Bagni di Lucca (LU) in 15 minutes, where you’ll find everything you need: pizzerias, ice cream shops, pharmacies, veterinary surgeons, and shops of all kinds. In less than an hour, 40 km away, you’ll reach Lucca, the city of 100 churches; about the same distance in the opposite direction, you’ll find Pistoia. Pisa and Viareggio are about 60 km away, and Florence is 80 km away. About 24 km away is Abetone, the centre of the ski resort of the same name—one of the most important in the northern Apennines—featuring approximately 50 km of ski runs, for a total of about 30 trails, served by 22 ski lifts managed by the Multipass consortium.<br>Languages spoken:<br>English, Italian
