Earthbox Inn & Spa

Earthbox Inn & Spa

8/10 Good
"Great location, within walking distance of the ferry dock and restaurants and shops in downtown Friday Harbor. Remote check-in process was easy and seamless. The property feels slightly outdated, but is generally clean. The daily housekeeping service did a great job of keeping our room clean and well-stocked. The room has a microwave, minifridge and small coffee maker with cups, creamer and sugar. The only small frustrations were that they didn't remove used coffee mugs for multiple days (though they did replenish them with clean ones); and there was no silverware available, so if you didn't happen to get any with your restaurant left-overs, reheating and eating them in the room was a bit inconvenient."

Bird Rock Hotel

Bird Rock Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Very cute old hotel 2 blocks from ferry. No AC in our room but we didn’t need it with open windows and ceiling fan! Having no staff there wasn’t a problem and they have dishes and a microwave in the lobby for making oatmeal or heating up leftovers. They set out lemonade and cookies in the afternoon. The only thing that I would suggest thats missing to have in the lobby would be a water cooler/filter refillable station. PARKING: We parked for the day up about 2 blocks in the 10 hr lot, then around 4 or 5, we’d bring it back down to street parking in the evening and in the am, take the car back to the free 10 hr lot not far away."

"We stayed in the Middleton Suite. It was larger than we expected and included a well-appointed kitchen and dining area. The gas woodstove in the sitting area was a nice touch and warmed us on a chilly morning. Overall, very comfortable for an overnight stay!"
