  • This unit is located on the 7th floor of Playa Azul Building 1. It's waterfront location is literally seconds away from the beach. Step out on the balcony and enjoy your favorite drink while taking in the astonishing ocean view and warm breeze. Fall asleep listening to the ocean waves. This unit is equipped with all you need to make you feel at home. The bedroom has a queen size bed, A/C unit, and a 40" smart TV with cable and internet access. Living area has a ceiling fan, sofa bed with a 50" LCD smart TV and wireless sound system. Kitchen appliances include: refrigerator, stove/
    oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. In-unit Washer & dryer. Beach items (chairs, cooler, cart, towels, etc.) are provided.

    This private complex has direct access to the beach and 24/7 monitoring. It has many recreational amenities including: adult and kiddie pools, basketball courts, playground and gazebo. Private parking inside the premises is also included.
    It is conveniently located near banks, restaurants, groceries stores, and points of interest like El Yunque National Forest, and Fajardo. Just 35 mins from the airport.

Quiet air conditioned BR with comfortable bed. Beautiful view of beach. Appreciated the really comfortable beach chairs and cooler. Great location for wedding we attended. Lots of great restaurants, drugstore and grocery store nearby.

Truly stunning views and amazing location!

Wonderful location; on beautiful Playa Azul beach and within walking distance to So Many restaurants and the kioskos. Easy access to El Yunque, and Fajardo too! This condo is in a safe area with gated parking lot and keyed entry to the building and beach area. Fabulous renter quick to answer any questions. The in-unit washer and dryer is a nice bonus! Amazing location! Gorgeous view! Host was friendly and great at communicating. Everything we needed was on hand. Mattress on bed very uncomfortable though, my husband ended sleeping on the couch because couldn't get comfortable.

Very Nice Get Away....

This is our 3rd stay in Luquillo and specifically, Playa Azul Towers. The building was in good repair and well maintained, and the people were very friendly and professional. The unit was tastefully appointed and just the right size for two travelers. The only negative strike was the remodeling noise that was going on in the unit directly overhead which promptly started at 7:30 am and went through the morning. However, would consider staying again.

Nice view, quaint condo with a great location to many beaches, activities and restaurants. Kitchen needs a few accessories for the oven, but asked owner to add those items. Pullout couch sleeps one comfortably.

Great location on a most beautiful beach. Complex is gated and felt very safe. Property's was very clean and loved the beach chairs and washer/dryer. Some furniture and pans were a bit tired and could be replaced. Should be marketed as a one bedroom with pullout couch rather than a two bedroom. Overall great property.

Perfect vacation rental

Owner has provided everything to make the stay enjoyable. Full size kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, even a coffee maker and toaster. Sitting out on the balcony and watching the waves was very relaxing. The condo and surrounding beach were kept clean and the condo staff were courteous and helpful. Lovely view. Staff at condo very helpful, recommended restaurant which was great. A/C in bedroom cooled whole apt if bedroom door open, used fan as well. Walked beach a good distance, sat on beach at Luquillo, very convenient and beautiful, why go anywhere else? Ate at Kiosks several times. Would definitely stay here again.

The condo was great, it had many usueful items and it was well equipped. The proximity to the beach and the kioskos of luquillo were just what we were looking for. Only thing we found we would have changed, was adding an ac unit to the living room area. Other than that, it was very comfortable, the bed, sofa, shower, etc. we will definitely come back

Great communication

We had a great stay. The host kept us informed about a temporary power outage on the island. The photos are very accurate. The beach out front is very nice. Big waves when we were there. Fun to play in. If the waves out front are too much for you, the public beach is about a 15 minute walk away. The walk is along the beach and is very picturesque. The nearby public beach Is in a very protected bay with very small waves.The public beach also has many food and drink options nearby. A large grocery store is just 3-5 minutes away from the condo via car. We would not hesitate to book this place again if we are back in Luquillo.

The property was great! Right on the beach, beautiful location. Plenty of towels and beach necessities. Very clean building and condo. It smelled fantastic. Great inside and outside entertainment. Nice security guards, nice tenants. All in all, a 5 star stay. The living room does get a little warm, but with the heat on the island, it wasn't bad! Angel was a great communicator and a wonderful host. Check in was a breeze, instructions were clear. We would 100% stay again. We loved everything about it!

This property was fine. The owners were super helpful and responsive. But there were some things that weren’t so great. The oven was not clean especially the drawer underneath. But I think that is because of the layout I suspect that a cleaner would struggle to access it as the oven as it cannot open all the way. Also we used the pull out couch in the living space but there is no air conditioning there. In order to try to cool the person sleeping on the pull out couch we ran the ac cold in the bedroom and left the door open. So we were cold in the bedroom and they were hot in the lounge. Not really ideal for anyone. Most of the shopping and restaurants are a bit of a drive away but we didn’t really mind that too much.

Excellent Location / Poor Amenities / Uncomfortable Conditions

As much as we hate to leave these comments, we felt compelled to do so for others not to be subjected to the discomfort we experienced. We arrived late at night, check in at the complex gate was smooth ( friendly and attentive gate keeper), parking in front of our tower was easy and in nice proximity of the entrance to the lobby, getting to our Apt was easy. We entered and as expected we needed to turn on the air conditioner ( which unfortunately was only available in the bedroom!) we were up for a bit looking around the Apt and checking out the balcony , when the horror was realized. The cooling unit up on the wall in our bedroom was vented out to the balcony, the heat from that exhaust unit on the balcony was so intense, coupled with the beautiful sea breezes that pushed the hot air into the living room/ dining area made it feel like you were in a sauna. There was a ceiling fan and a floor fan available but they didn’t help much because of the circulation of the hot air coming off the balcony through the Venetian window blinds on either side of the balcony door. Then we started to find issues like mold under the kitchen sink, the oven door required cleaning, and this was totally unacceptable, the shower door was broken on one side where the wheels were coming off the track and had to be carefully adjusted with each use, not to mention the mold buildup and crack on the shower floor pan that filled with water and gushed up when stepped on. OMG I have no room. There’s more!

Amazing views!!

PROS The location of this property is right on the beach with wonderful views. You are mere steps away! We loved that the unit had 2 Tommy Bahama chairs and an umbrella. The unit did have a newer air unit in the bedroom (not the one in the ad pictures under the window); however, we enjoyed opening the windows, patio door and slats on the front door to take advantage of the beautiful ocean breeze. There was also ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room. Loved the high table and 2 chairs on the balcony providing a great view of the beach. CONS We had read previous reviews that did state the cleanliness of the unit was possibly below average and we can't dispute that. The dryer had a capture tray that had never been emptied and it was full of foul smelling stagnate water. The unit was a bit rough. The bottom drawer of the nightstand was broken as was the left panel of the hallway closet door. The patio door had a tendency to come off the rail, when being opened or closed. A foul smell came from the bathroom sink and we believe it was because the plumbing is incorrect (there was no "p"trap). Some of the towels (kitchen, bathroom hand and beach) were all a bit tread bare. WISHLIST Drying rack to hang wet towels, bathing suits and laundry. Stick vacuum for light pickup of sand and hair. Safe to lock up valuables. Kettle for tea PHOTO/AD ACCURACY The bed is only a double, not a queen. There is no cart. Couch is not leather (fabric) and the black leather chair is gone.

This apartment has EVERYTHING you need for a beach stay (chairs, umbrella, life jackets, washer/ dryer, baby crib, full kitchen). Spacious, amazing view, and safe. Communication with Angel was easy and prompt. The only thing I'd suggest is maybe a little TLC/update in the bathroom and bedroom. I'd return again. Luquillo kiosks/ beach are 4 min away by car. There are restaurants, fast food, gas stations, pharmacy very close to the apartment. We loved our stay. Kid friendly.
