I’m so glad I picked this over a traditional hotel/resort. The property is breathe taking, the owner is super cool, and its close to the national rainforest. There are multiple areas to sit among the orchids and see the ocean and lights of San Juan from 1,000 feet high. It is very peaceful. The host is amazing. If you want to be emerged in the rainforest but still stay in a clean room with all the amenities that feels like home this is where you should stay. It doesn't get any more beautiful or tranquil than this. The owner Joaquin has created such a special place and works so hard to keep it looking pristine to be able to share this hidden gem with as many people as he can. The very beautiful spaces are accompanied by the beautiful view of the nature that surrounds it. Everything is very clean and with spaces to connect and share as a couple or family. The pictures don’t even come close! The pool was perfect, the gardens full of life and color, the views spectacular. The gardens resplendent with native trees and flowers, and hanging orchids, were enchanting. Joaquin was a lovely host. He made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The house and all its places - balconies, sunrooms - from which one could watch birds or sunsets with windows and doors wide open and warm breezes flowing through - was spacious. The pool was lovely and refreshing for a late afternoon swim after a day of exploring El Yunque. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cutlery, dishes, and we felt perfectly at home making coffee in the morning or preparing a cheese board for dinner.
