The staff was very helpful and kind. The food was delicious at breakfast. However, my family and I were very disappointed that we were not told of a Safari Party prior to us checking in. That was not the vibe of the hotel we were looking for. We were looking for quiet and comfortable like we have always experienced at this hotel in the past. While we were told of the party the night of, there was nothing we could do at that point. It was difficult to navigate from the entrance to the elevators, and to the casino due to the large amount of people. Having been informed of this event prior to checking in, would have been very helpful.

El staff fue muy bueno, todos fueron súper amables. El desayuno fue un 5 stars todos los días. Lo disfrutamos demasiado. Tuvimos que usar el restaurante todo el tiempo y nos encanto. La comida y los cócteles fueron súper buenos. Volvería a visitarlos sin dudarlo.

Whenever we visit Costa Rica, we stay here. Logistically it makes the most sense for us. The staff is great and very friendly. The hotel is very well maintained. Unfortunately for us this last visit, the breakfast buffet was not ready for its 6:00am opening. Our flights out of Costa Rica are quite early. In order for us to truly enjoy our breakfast before heading off to the airport, we need punctuality and readiness. This is the first time we experienced this, and it won't discourage us from booking here again, which we will be doing very soon

Breakfast and room service - meals were very good. Two areas of concern : bank machine issues 40 $ of a 100$ withdrawal that no retailer would take because they were marked. the audit trail for the mini bar was non existent.

The staff is excellent and they are friendly and attentive. The food is decent and you are close to shopping. The property is a little worn out and needs a refresh. Otherwise great place to stay.

Pleasant stay
Beautiful space, clean and comfortable room, and friendly, accommodating staff. We were in a noisy room over where the Saturday night band was playing, and thankfully they were able to move us to a quieter room. The breakfast buffet was vegan friendly, we were glad for the soy milk too.

It was a terrible experience: we found two bedbugs in our room (in both of our beds) and decided to get away from this hotel as soon as possible. Management offered to move us to a better room but, since they all use the same laundry system, we decided this was not an option. On our way out, we saw a very suspicious bag containing some pink powder inside the elevator. This was immediately reported to the hotel staff. To summarize, it was a terrible experience.

Great choice for business travel
Great hotel for business travel. Quality gym, sauna, and pool with a view on the 8th floor. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Eggs/omelettes made to order and a nice variety of other food. Only had drinks and pizza in the lobby bar. Pizza was average. Associates throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. Multiple restaurants and shopping within a few minutes drive. The only suggested improvement is for the hotel to purchase additional pool sticks. My colleagues and I played the first night with one broken stick and the second night there were no sticks available.
