Off season stay so most restaurants were closed, long walk to center of town. Room very nice, breakfast very good, pool is cold in April, hot tub would be nice but not very hot, spa services are good.

Great views and friendly staff
Great room with a lovely view over the Mar Menor. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast good, dinner ok - limited choice but fine. Spa services good quality at reasonable price. To be honest, for a bargain price I can only recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, need a taxi if you want to go out anywhere. Only a silly gripe but normally in an hotel of this type included in the Tea and Coffee making facilities a small capsule of long life milk is included…the hotel refused to supply this. One of our group had no shower gel in the bathroom so it is obviously not checked. It was reasonably clean, seen better and seen worse.

Good location in the middle of La Manga. Room was very clean. Mediterranean Sea faced room have vary nice view but as it is street faced it was slightly noise in the night. The staff kindly rearranged a Mar Menor faced room which was very quiet and also had a very nice view. Food was average but still good value for what we paid for. Happy with our stay in this hotel.

Very nice good hotel overall, with a bit of outdated furnishings inside the rooms. The dining area is the forte point with super clean and professional staff and an excellent food selection for breakfast and dinner. Downside: To use the pool you must ask reception for the towels! The receptionist retains 20 Euro cash for each towel, handwrites a slip, signs it, and provides you with the towel. A quite strange process.

Night break, which we do on a regular basis
Hotel was very clean and welcoming, glass of cava on arrival. Room was excellent and food also excellent. Had read some of the reviews before going but felt I wanted to see for myself. The hotel had obviously been modernized size these reviews and food excellent. Only upset was the Spa, given the wrong prices over the phone before booking, but reception sorted that oroblem, lovely lady on the desk.

Our room was nice and had a lovely sea view but the food wad terrible both for evening meal and breakfast. It was sub standard and looked like most of it had been thrown together with whatever they had in the kitchen. Most of the hot dishes were Luke warm . I would not rate this hotel as 4 star at all. Extremely disappointed and wanted to use the spa but it didn’t open until 4pm which was no good to us by that time. Nearly checked out of the hotel ad it was so poor but that meant a very long journey for my husband . I voiced my opinion at the receptionist but didn’t get any reasonable response.

Lovely chilled out and peaceful
Loved the hotel and location. Clean. friendly and relaxed. Had a wonderful lazy holiday in spite of the time of year as things were shutting down. For us it was nice and low key away from the busy and bustle of everyday life. Room and facilities were very good.

It’s a good but not updated hotel. Pool area was good couple of years ago. Problems with a food. If hotel full food is good. If groups left it - low variety and quality.

My wife and I arrived very late for check-in (0230) and were welcomed in a most pleasant way by the Night Desk attendant even though the website states that the check-in is up to midnight. Breakfasts were fine, bearing in mind that the hotel has to accommodate the tastes of people from several different parts of the world.

Beautiful hotel, close to the beach.
Hotel is beautiful, clean and great facilities. Breakfast was very good too. Staff were very helpful, however during my 4 night stay, I was not able to use the hotels iron. They advised that they only had 3 which were all in use with other guests at the hotel, so I asked them to let me know when it was free but they did not call me, which was disappointing.

Not to be missed in La Manga
We stayed at Poseidon La Manga Hotel & Spa for 2 nights. The 1st night we booked on-site, direct with the Hotel as we had no wifi. The 2nd night we booked through Hotel.com for a reduced price. Check-in was informative & efficient. We were given a glass of cava during this process. We paid a standard price to use the Hotel secure car park (underneath) on the 1st night. On the 2nd night, we chose to park our car on the street. There were plenty of free parks & we could see our parked car from our Hotel balcony. Breakfast was included as part of the accommodation price. There was a good variety including continental and cooked. We had a double room on the 5th floor. It was a good sized room with a comfortable king sized bed. We were thrilled with a balcony from which we fantastic views of Mar Menor (little sea) on the left & of the Mediteranean Sea on the right. The balcony was equipped with a chairs & a small table which we used when enjoying a wine & watching the sun set over Mar Menor. The Hotel has a lovely outside pool & spa area which are well kept & very clean. The beach is only a 2 min walk away. The location is ideal with a few restaurants, cafes, ice-cream palour, pizza place, convenience stores, pharmacy & beach supply store all within a 2-3 min walk. We would definitely recommend this Hotel.

Mangalan Hotel La Manga. Not worth the money!
Hotel was ok but not a 4 star. I have stayed in hostals with equal facilities. Spa pools were expensive and hotel guests were only offered a paltry 10% discount. Dinner options were either a very limited snack bar or a buffet meal and I do not consider this 4 star. The food was at best passable but more like cheap cafe fare than 4 star. While the bathroom was a reasonable size the bath was tiny and for anyone with mobility issues not easy to use or access the shower. This is a hotel for the Spanish - no English spoken that I heard by staff - and even a small thing like crisps with a drink was only given to the Spanish. I would not stay here again!

We would return to this hotel , reasonably priced but the pool and gym need to be opened earlier , 10 am isn't what we were expecting for ether of these. Breakfast was good but more fruit would be lovely same for lunch and the evenjng meal. Not a British 4 star hotel though more a 3

Es stand klein gedruckt: „Nur für Erwachsene“, aber es waren Kinder dort. Wenn ich das so buche, dann möchte ich dies auch. An den Pool darf man erst wenn die Bademeister anwesend sind. Im Bad ist keine WC-Bürste vorhanden!!! Essen war sehr gut, aber für Vegetarier etwas schwieriger. Nicht viel Auswahl. Vegan wäre sehr schwierig. Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

El hotel está bien, pero tuvimos algunos problemas sobre todo de limpieza en la habitación estuvimos tres noches y no limpiaron bien ningún día, por lo demás el personal muy amable en el restaurante y en la recepción, , la comida buena pero algo escasa en opciones para alérgicos.
