"Overall the property was spacious, clean, and as described. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility, gorgeous views, and wide open spaces and the villa was well equipped and clean. The host was fantastic to deal with and even helped connect us with a private driver and chef who made a wonderful meal for us during our stay. The property is very remote and rustic so as long as you fully understand that going in, you will enjoy your time. We chuckled at seeing a big toad try to jump into the front door one evening. We had some rain and noticed a small leak in the roof in one bathroom. You can also expect to see a bug or two - again this is a remote villa in the countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and already missing morning coffees with that priceless Tuscan view."

"Wow!!! Luigi was wonderful… lots of good local information and very responsive to any questions we had. Very easy check-in and check-out processes. The place was peaceful and quiet but easy to get to other destinations. It really met our need and more for our stay in Tuscany…we will certainly tell all our friends and family about this place. "The shower drain was not adequate and bath room as well as into bedroom pooled with water. Had to use shower with very low flow. No coffee machine in the room, one machine in breakfast room which staff only operated starting at 8;00am. Definitely a minus as wanted coffee earlier, and like to still be in pajamas in room. Pillows were flat and not supportive of neck or head. One mile of very bumpy road leading to property. Lots of flies around due to chickens and sheep on property. Room would be quite warm in summer"

"We loved our stay, hope to be back, and would recommend to anyone visiting Tuscany! The view from almost anywhere on the property is absolutely stunning and we felt immediately relaxed after a week of Italian city life- the location feels remote but is close to many attractions, little medieval towns, and amazing wineries. We witnessed the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises up on the hill by the pool. The borgo itself is idyllic, rustic, and charming with lots of character. The pool is wonderful (although a bit chilly in mid Sept :) ) with lots of seating and again a beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked and all of the extras (like coffee, water, juice, bread, jams, teas, sugar, olive oil, vinegars, salt, pepper, and wine) were so helpful and appreciated, limiting what we needed to buy at the local Coop. Multiple rooms had fresh flowers (such a lovely touch), there was lots of clothing storage, and nice bath towels. We saw a few red foxes, a large bunny, countless birds (heard 15 different species according to my Merlin app), and many of the property cats who hung out with us while we enjoyed our wine in the multiple communal seating areas. We are so happy we selected this property after looking at so many others in the area - it was a wonderful, relaxing stay!"

"Unforgettable Tuscan Getaway at Villa Montisi!We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Villa Montisi. The villa itself was exceptionally clean, spacious, and provided the perfect backdrop for our time in Tuscany.As people who love to cook, we were especially impressed by the well-equipped kitchen—it had everything we needed to prepare wonderful meals using local ingredients. Outside, the pool was immaculate, and relaxing by the water with exquisite, sweeping views of the surrounding vineyards and countryside was a true highlight of our trip.The location is ideal—peaceful and private, yet just minutes away from fantastic restaurants in both San Giovanni d'Asso and Montisi. To topitall off, the owners were extremely responsive and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed throughout our stay. Jo, the on site host, gave us a warm welcome and showed us around the Villa.We couldn't have asked for a better Tuscan experience and highly recommend Villa Montisi to anyone visiting the area!"
