everything was very cutesy, boutique style The only thing I wish they would’ve had was more affordable parking. I know it’s not necessarily their fault, but they were great in pointing us to some cheaper parking down the road.

Not sure was the $150 amenity fee was for...also got charged $75 dollars for parking tax and another urban tax. Cute hotel, not sure it's all and all worth the price.
We loved this place! They came in and cleaned every morning without having to ask. And the whole place was always very clean. Staff were friendly and we really enjoyed the whole experience. Our room had a built in noise machine on the desk too which was handy! Great location too! 10/10 will be back.
The hotel has a charming, old San Francisco feel, and I appreciated the unique decor, especially the literary quotes and thoughtful design touches throughout the rooms. The staff was also very kind and accommodating, which I appreciated.
However, the overall comfort left a lot to be desired. The hotel is definitely dated, the elevator is slow, the walls are extremely thin, and the beds aren’t particularly comfortable. You can hear conversations, hallway noise, and doors banging, which makes it difficult to relax.
I initially had a room in a quieter area of the hotel, but the window faced a wall, so I requested a room with a city view. While the new room on the sixth floor had a much better view, it unfortunately had a noticeable urine-like odor when I first entered. I could also smell food cooking and coffee brewing from the café connected to the hotel.
Overall, I can appreciate the hotel’s character and understand its relatively affordable pricing, especially for San Francisco. However, I personally prefer the comfort, soundproofing, and amenities of a more modern hotel. While the staff was lovely, I probably wouldn’t stay here again.
I think this is my 4th consecutive year staying at the Emblem. The hotel is always funky, comfortable, well located, and I always ask and get a quiet room where I can rest even in this part of the city. Gitanjali who leads the front desk is always helpful. This time she and her team helped me with A LOT of packages I had delivered and they were through and kind. The Bluestone coffee on premise always has great breakfast, smoothies and coffee. Cocktails at the Pacific Cocktail Haven nextdoor are always the best. Looking forward to returning.

Wow! If I could have dreamed up a perfect hotel, I could not have imagined any better. Th rooms were cool, hip, and comfortable. The staff was incredibly helpful. And I asked for a mini-fridge and extra Nespresso pods! Which came right away.
Clean, tidy rooms with nice decor.
Haven't get to try the Bar or other services, just the room alone we love so much already
Also great location which is a big plus
We has a great stay at the Emblem. The room was clean and great, well designed and everything we needed. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We needed help with dinner one night and the staff suggested delivery and eating the the lounge it was just what we needed and we could have a great drink from the bar.
I would definately come here during our next stay in the city,
This hotel is super quaint and stylish and conveniently located in heart of the city. Great coffee shop/cafe in the lobby and the coolest bar where they host happy hour. The staff was very friendly and helped me get an early check in so I could take care of some work meetings.the room was comfortable, updated and have a nice bathroom.I would definitely stay there again!
just a secret gem in San Fran!! We booked it for my friends Bach, and this was exactly her vibe.
The entrance is beautiful, and check in was so smooth.
The amenities were all included, there’s a lot!!! I requested a typewriter for the room! They also give us envelopes and stamps to send out the letters! So cute
Hotel was cute and cozy. Def an older hotel. But it came with a BUILT IN WHITE NOISE MACHINE. Never in my life have I seen that. 100/10 for that.
I would say the bluestone cafe wasn’t the best. Coffee was milky and it was expensive. But there’s a lot of cafes in San Fran to go to instead.
Pretty walkable to some good restaurants!
Coming from a group of 4 women that walked to dinner at 9pm (5 min walk) it was great! We then took a waymo back since there was a heavy homelessness presence after walking a little further after dinner.
Would honestly come back!

Good location, very central and helpful staff. Beds comfy. However a bit dirty and amenity charge despite not many amenities
El hotel es temático, sobre libros. Muy bien ubicado, los cuartos están limpios, son cómodos y tienen diseño interesante. Es un hotel pequeño y muy acogedor
