Beautiful, cozy and well furnished

This beautiful, cozy and well furnished, this 2 bedrooms in-law unit has plenty of natural light, and is located in a nice quiet house in the Sunset/Parkside district. Recently updated, very clean and bright. The bedrooms are furnished with a new queen and full size beds, and has plenty of closet space. Fresh linens and towels (for 2 beds with 4 guests) are provided for your comfort and convenience. If you need an additional bedding for the futon there is a charge of $20 a day for the duration of the reservation. Sorry, the laundry is not available for short terms rental of 7 nights or less.

The apartment has an open dining/living room floor plan. Electrical cook-top, sorry no oven. Refrigerator, microwave,
toaster, coffeemaker, dishwasher and all you may need for comfortable stay. In the living room you will find a comfy futon and a large flat screen TV. Hi-speed WiFi is available throughout the house.

The location of the apartment is quite safe and convenient. It is close to public
transportation, only 1 block away from the Taraval MUNI line which will take you directly
to downtown, or to the beach in the opposite direction. If you come by car, free street
parking is easy to find. No parking permit is required. It is residential part of the city and
all houses around are single family homes so the density is not as high as in multifamily residents neighborhoods. Please check the street cleaning signs before you park your car.
The apartment has separate entrance. Both Hi-Ways 101 and 280 are nearby. There are many stores, restaurants, and several shopping plazas a few blocks away, and Stern Grove is just around the corner.

This cozy apartment will surely make you feel at home, while you explore everything San Francisco has to offer.

My Mother and I stayed at this cozy first floor apartment. Check in and out were easy. It was conveniently located near public transit, a few shops and some restaurants. The kitchen had enough place settings and space to accommodate 5 people for diner. We had to change plans at the last minute when my in-laws lost power during the city wide outage 12/20/25. The apartment was still fully operational! It had all the tools, pots and pans we needed to host an impromptu holiday meal! The beds were comfy and the bathroom was plenty accommodating for two adults.

Absolutely loved our accommodations!! It was everything we needed for our four day race trip to SF! Location allowed for a nice 1.7 mile run to the ocean!! Host was great ! Definitely a place we would book again!

I was pleasantly surprised by how close the Vrbo is to the beach. The parking was easy too as there were 3 streets with open parking the entire time! Walking distance to Walgreens and a great breakfast cafe.

Great spot in a great location!

My wife and college son stayed here during his spring break and it served as a great base camp for our activities in SF. Short walk to train stop for transport into the city, and close to some great restaurants on Taraval St. Was clean and well maintained. Owner was great to communicate with and was extremely accommodating, which was much appreciated. Overall a great experience!

It's a pretty nice place, couple of blocks from MUNI train and bus stops that can get you anywhere you want to go. Parking was challenging at times; guests are not allowed to use the driveway, and street parking can be scarce.Understand that this is a basement apartment; it is certainly nice, cozy, accurately advertised and a pretty good value, but reviews saying it's "amazing" or "exceptional" are, in my opinion, a bit exaggerating. If you're expectations are calibrated, though, it's a nice stay.

Great value

Two full bedrooms in a charming neighborhood with decent parking was a good find. Neighbors a little noisy at times and the kitchen could use a fry pan with a lid that fits. The owner is great and very accommodating. We were very pleased with this little gem of a property.

My Daughter and her 2 sons truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. We absolutely loved the neighborhood!!! Many good restaurants and cafes on Taraval, which is a block walk away. Everyone we encountered were very friendly. We prefer to use public tansportion in the Bay Area, and both bus and train lines were also accessible on Taraval. Our host, Mike, was also super! There were a couple of minor issues during our stay and he addressed those immediately! The entire stay was very nice!

Nice Place to Stay

The property is in a great location. There’s not much parking on the actual street, but the streets that run perpendicular have plenty of parking and are just a short walk. The unit was clean, but could use a deep clean behind the beds & furniture. The site says that there is a dryer, but you are not allowed to use the washer/dryer unless you are staying longer than seven days. The owner was easy to communicate with and responded very quickly.

No complaints at all. Place was as advertised. Nice quiet neighborhood not too far from downtown. One thing I appreciated was that the kitchen doesn’t get completely emptied of non-perishable ingredients between guests (as often happens) leaving useful things (spices, sugars, etc) available. Very useful.

Great short stay for outside lands

Great cozy spot for overnight stay while being busy all day. We went to Outside Lands, perfectly close but not too close to the festival. We loved the neighborhood and the ease of parking. Although just make sure you do not park on the street Friday morning for street cleaning my husband got a ticket. We fought it though because sign was hard to read. Down the road there is great places to eat and stores to pick up groceries.

Comfortable get away

Overall, thi place is exactly as stated. It's really 3 apartments in the building, my friend said you could kinda hear the folks next door through her bedroom wall. The futon couch is a little wonky, but I was comfortable enough on it. I don't think my friends would tolerated it. Cool neighborhood, lots of places just up the street to eat. Incredible pastry shops.

Neighboorhood is great & safe, but inaccurate description of stay. Its a basement apartment and entrance is in an ally. Bathroom tub and toilet are very old and had a yellow stain. The apartment has a food smell 24/7 and its very overwhelming. Lastly, tenants upstairs made a lot of noise and were running around at all odd times, making it hard to sleep!

Nice neighborhood with walkable grocery store

This property served us well for a 17 day stay. There was a Safeway 5 blocks away which was convenient for us without a car. Taravel light rail would have been super convenient but was shut down for construction. West Portal was walkable to catch the Munni to downtown. The place was neither impeccable clean nor unacceptably dirty explaining the varying views of other guests. We did find underwear and sweat pants lingering under one bed and someone came in to check our furnace without knocking. Be aware that the description doesn't talk of any outdoor space and know that backyard access is not available. Unit above transmitted lots of foot noise through floor during day but night was generally void of any disturbing noise from above or outside.
