This was in a nice location near cable cars and Chinatown. Room is very basic and bathroom is very small, but everything works as expected and seemed clean. It is affordable. Radiator can be very loud in the night but we got used to it. There were a pair of shoes outside our room with a hallway window wide open the entire stay which was off-putting, and the water fountain filter needs to be fixed

GREAT hotel! I almost hesitate to tell people how great it is because I don’t want it to get too busy, lol. Small, clean, quiet, updated rooms with bath, really great hostel amenities- kitchen, tv room, work room, patio. Really comfortable and convenient place to stay at a reasonable price.

I was pleasantly surprised, as I had low expectations for a hostel. But the room and bathroom was spacious and clean. The bathroom looked newly renovated. Bed was super comfy. Had everything you needed. Shared kitchen was untidy at times, but the onus is on the guests to clean after themselves. Price was reasonable given the location.
