Visiting our Marine

We have a USMC Marine in Cali so we used his 96 hr leave to fly out from Florida to visit. Great stay. Everything in description was spot on. San Diego is a little different than where we are from so took some getting use to but we enjoyed th proximity to downtown. Walked over to Petco to catch a game. We also watched fireworks from the balcony.Great time. Thanks JD!

The property was very clean, and easy to access being that it was downtown. The owner JD, was very responsive if we had any questions. The amenities were fantastic and very convenient to have. I would definitely stay there again.

Christmas in San Diego

My daughter, nephew and I spent Christmas in San Diego at this beautiful home in downtown, gaslamp district. Property is beautiful, nicely decorated and it has everything you need including a washer and dryer. We were able to enjoy freshly brewed coffee every day and walk to the restaurants for lunch. We enjoyed our stay very much. JD was very helpful the entire time.

We came to San Diego to see our son. He is in the navy and this place was the perfect location close to the navel center and within walking distance to so many fun things to do. JD is amazing we travel all the time a he was a great host! The place was wonderful we just loved it!!

Modern and well appointed home

The host was very attentive and accessible. The beds were very comfortable. It’s about a fifteen minute walk to main Gaslamp area with plenty of bars and restaurants. Overall, we had a great stay.

Fun time in San Diego

The property was great. It is really in the middle of everything and so convenient. If you are looking for a quiet retreat, this really isn't it, but if you want to be IN IT, this is perfect. The home was clean and really nice. We had a wonderful time.

Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting the area!

I had an amazing stay at this beautifully remodeled 2 BD 2.5 BTH property in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter. The location is unbeatable, with the all restaurants, and bars just steps away. Close to the airport, La Jolla and Old Town village. The modern amenities, spacious layout, and stylish decor made it feel like home. Plus, the no cleaning fee was a pleasant surprise. Perfect for exploring San Diego, with great restaurants and nightlife nearby. Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting the area!

Gaslamp highlights

Place is nice for small groups/families on 3 floors. Living room folding bed was not as comfortable as 1st or 3rd floor beds / I was concerned about street noise because of location on a very busy street but the double pain windows worked. The other issue was street lights that bleeds into living during sleep. Large TVs were a nice touch. Parking is a challenge but after one try I was able to car it. Secured parking was a big benefit as the location is sketchy

Conference / Business Trip

JD's place was great! I stayed here while attending a conference at the convention center. The home was very comfortable and had everything needed for a 4 night stay. The location was perfect, close to food and entertainment as well as walking distance to the convention center. I specifically enjoyed having coffee on the balcony prior to the walk to convention center. I would highly recommend staying for either work or for pleasure. Exceeded my expectations.

Family Vacation

What a beautiful home! Home had a definite wow factor. Fluffy towels, comfy beds, and plenty of dishes. Having a garage was a huge plus, it was great to not worry about finding parking. The art work was amazing. Easy walk to the Gas Lamp for dinner. The balcony was a nice treat in the afternoon. My parents (81 & 77) did find the stairs to be a bit much by the end of the stay. They enjoyed the house very much and liked having their own space. Overall it was a wonderful stay!

Upscale central spot

Very nice loft, right in the heart of the downtown action, we walked to dinner and bars every night. JD did a great job covering details like parking, and how to use the different amenities like the bluetooth speaker. Great having parking available, do note that it is quite a tight fit for a minivan. It's a noisy part of town with traffic and revelers on the weekends but we slept soundly with earplugs nonetheless. JD was attentive to all our messages and accommodated an early check in. Would 100% stay again.

The unit is beautiful, very nicely decorated in a great location. The home has everything you could need and then some. JD was easy to communicate with and getting into the unit was easy as was the garage. Our only concern was the second bedroom which was very small. It has a queen bed , but no bedside lights and one side is right agiainst the wal making it hard to get in and out. Other than that it is a fabulous place.

Wonderful House, Interesting Neighborhood...

First off, I must say, this is one of cleanest houses I have ever rented. Towels were clean, shower was clean, floors were clean-everything was clean! There were plenty of supplies, extra plates, glasses, towels, shampoo, hair dryer, extra sheets, anything and everything you can think of.. There are three TV's, one on each level. Every TV is Roku, so you can add your own channel-YouTubeTV is available. The house is spacious and eclectically decorated. The walls are concrete(!), so expect every noise, both inside and out, to literally bounce off the walls and echo. Internet wireless speeds were fast. The owner, JD, was very responsive-kudos to him for his prompt responses on just a few minor questions I had during out visit. Ingress and egress to the house is interesting, but doable, and challenging (do pay attention to the video he sends). The electric lock on the front door works quite nicely-zero issues there. Parking inside the garage can be challenging-do not bring a large SUV (think Tahoe) as it will never fit. The neighborhood-homeless people do live on the sidewalks in front of the home. Police and emergency vehicles do visit the streets on a regular basis. Flashing lights do enter the living room windows. Sirens do echo off the walls. This may bother some people-others it may not-it's an eclectic neighborhood, and as such, it isn't for everyone and in my opinion, for adults only. Last word-the house is wonderful and I would recommend it to any and every adult.
