Guests get the best of both worlds – the serene and picturesque relaxing feel of neighborhood living while the beach, restaurants, bars, bakery, breweries and shopping are only 3 blocks away. Relax and fill your soul with happiness and sunsets from this lovely home and partake in the vibrant beach scene at your leisure. Only 8 minutes from the airport, your vacay can begin immediately! You will start to unwind upon arrival. As you enter the main floor, your jaw drops at the 180 degree view of the Pacific. Walk right out the main floor 15 ft. door that disappears into the wall and take it all in. This deck has an outdoor kitchen and bar and also offers outdoor electric heating to take the chill off those cool mornings and nights. Enjoy outdoor meals with the family sitting at the 10 foot outdoor table which provides seating for 8 and the nearby bar which seats 3\. After eating, play a round or two of ping pong, and move on up to the second deck where you can enjoy a soak in the hot tub that seats 6\. Oh- did we mention the beautiful built in fireplace adjacent to the hot tub? Don’t feel like a soak? No problem, the second deck has a high-top table with 4 chairs as well as a love seat. Or maybe you want to take in the most spectacular view that the home has to offer up on the 3rd deck. Relax on one of two comfy sofas or in one of the chaise lounges. Be sure to bring your camera – you will want to take a pic of the prettiest sunset in all of San Diego. All 5 bedrooms offer views of the ocean and have en-suite bathrooms. 4 of the 5 bedrooms have California King Beds, while one offers 2 sets of twin bunk beds. All bedrooms have walk-in closets and come equipped with Smart TV’s. One of the downstairs bedrooms has a fireplace as well as a walk out into the landscaped garden, complete with a reading bench. We know you will want to partake in the beach and we are ready for you. The house is outfitted with beach towels, beach toys, beach chairs, umbrellas and a cooler as well as a beach wagon to haul it all in. Upon returning from the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower conveniently located in the outdoor garden on the backside of the home. It is as beautiful as advertised. The check in process was seamless, and the owner was great (even bought us pastries the first morning). The house has all the supplies you'll need and even some you wouldn't think of (the ziplock bags really came in handy for packing snacks for the kids😁). The house is amazing. 10 of us stayed during this visit and, because of the layout of the house, we all felt like we had plenty of room to visit as well as space to find some quiet time as needed. The views from the decks are outstanding. The kitchen is very well stocked so we enjoyed cooking meals. The owners are fantastic and very quick to respond to questions or issues. We rented this house for a family vacation and we could not have made a better choice. There were 12 of us in total, ranging from 3 years old to grandparents, and this house had everything we needed. The kids loved having their own space in the bunk room and all the adults enjoyed running through the house calling "dibs" on our bedrooms lol. Everything we needed was there from cooking to cleaning to laundry to games and puzzles for a rainy day (the reindeer antlers were a huge hit LOL) . The house was clean and so unbelievably beautiful. The pictures don't even do it justice! The location is perfect, so easy to get to everything you'll want to do in San Diego. The house had plenty of room for all of us to spread out comfortably, and the three decks with breathtaking ocean views were a highlight. We especially loved the pocket sliding doors that fully opened, seamlessly extending the living space and allowing us to enjoy the fresh air.Mornings were spent having breakfast outside at the table with unbeatable views, and the kitchen was top-notch—fully stocked with high-quality cookware and everything we needed to prepare meals. The fireplace and outdoor heaters were perfect for the cooler evenings, adding to the cozy atmosphere. The home was also well-stocked with beach towels and supplies, making our trips to the beach effortless.The location was fantastic—close to everything we wanted to see and do. Each couple had a wonderful room with comfortable beds and their own en suite when it was time to retire for the night but before then the shared spaces couldn’t have been more perfect. The pictures just don’t do it justice!!! From making brunch in the very well appointed kitchen that have everything you could need and enjoying our food and mimosas on the first deck soaking in the ocean views to ending the day with wine and music on the top deck dancing under the stars with the city lights in the background and a free fireworks show from nearby Sea World. There just wasn’t enough time in our four nights/five days to enjoy all of the amenities so we will definitely be planning a return trip.
